"The place was clean but there was an unidentifiable oder in the room. Airing it out didn't help much. The main problem was with the TV. There was no program reception due to reportedly not being able to connect to the internet. When i contacted the front desk the woman there said that the man who knows about that has gone home for the day. She came up and tried to fix it with no luck. Being in a motel room with no TV or internet connection is not good for me."

"My partner and I were very excited to stay here. Before our arrival, we were informed that the occupancy during our visit would be low, so we inquired about a paid upgrade at check-in. Unfortunately, our request was denied, even though we saw many vacant rooms and very few cars in the parking lot. This left us confused about the unavailability of an upgrade. Additionally, the room next to ours was booked by a family who were up very early, and we could hear every footstep. We had hoped for a bit more privacy during our stay. On a positive note, we thoroughly enjoyed the food in the restaurant, and the live music was a wonderful touch. However, we wished we had been acknowledged as hotel guests during our meal, as other guests were. The server assumed we were not staying at the hotel (despite our reservation) and dropped off the check without asking, which made us feel a bit singled out. Overall, all of the associates were extremely friendly, and the views were absolutely stunning!"

"We stayed in the Cypress Cottage. It was very quiet and comfortable. You could see the ocean from the window and the kitchen was stocked with all you need for cooking. They supplied coffee, tea and a complimentary bottle of wine. The carpet needed to be removed due to age in the eating area, stained. Upon entry the cabin smelled of dogs from the past. We had to air it out. We were not particularly bothered by this being a dog owner ourselves but not what we wanted to smell on a getaway without our dog. Otherwise, the cabin was lovely, self check in a breeze and atmosphere fantastic!"

"Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Jade was such a pleasure to deal with and went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed. The property itself was gorgeous, fabulous room with super comfy beds and great views, bountiful free breakfast in the morning, walking distance to stores and restaurants, amazing hikes nearby...we loved it here and hope to visit again soon! Thank you, Jade!"

"Very clean and tidy studio "row-house" style bungalows, recently updated so very attractive. Room featured a luxurious bathtub. Room had sliding glass doors with chairs just outside to watch the sunset. Room included a coffee-pod maker and water, large TV, and large comfy bed. It's across the highway from the downtown area so you can't really walk there but it's very quiet and relaxing. I also liked their cancellation policy!"

"It was a lovely place to stay, in a convenient location, and the owners were very friendly and helpful. The supplied wifi was very good (a concern in this area, because cell service is spotty). A note for EV drivers, especially those coming from urban areas: Be sure to plan out your charging stops ahead of time, because once you get out to Hwy 1 on the coast, chargers, especially high-speed ones, are not exactly thick on the ground. If you're on 101, I'd suggest topping off someplace along that highway before you get on the country roads out to the coast. From Dennen's, the nearest high-speed charger I found was in Fort Bragg. Fortunately, that's only maybe 10-11 miles away, and there are 12 Tesla Superchargers there. If you're traveling through Willits, there are some Electrify America and Shell chargers there."
