"Love the place! Staff are great, Choose the room that suits you, the price is right. Happy Hour (bartender is a hilarious) dinner, breakfast included, the other patrons from around the world are great to chat with. Lots of stores & scenic areas to check out. Parking is on street, pay by daytime, you need to get the Park Victoria if staying over night. No charge 8pm to 8 am, but make sure to put a 30min or more in the morning if you are going to stay for the good Continental breaky."

"This property is a hidden gem on the Harbour. Staff are extraordinary friendly, rooms have thoughtful amenities such as silverware for takeout food, coffee and refrigerators. Robes in the closets and little touches such as make-up wipes. Centrally located to walk to many attractions and restaurants. Free onsite parking. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the James Bay Hotel! The location is excellent—quiet yet central—and everything is within easy walking distance. Beautiful Beacon Hill Park is very close by. The rooms are comfortably furnished and very clean, and the staff is very friendly. Parking is free. There is a breakfast restaurant and a cozy pub serving tasty beer and food. We would happily recommend it to others!"
