"We’ve stayed at The Urban Newtown a couple of times and it never disappoints. Thanks to Hotels.com member perks we got our room at a great price, check in was speedy and we were even offered to help ourselves to the fully stocked fridge in reception (beer and wine - unheard of!) The hotel is so unique with the internal gardens. The rooms are urban style at its best, complete with concrete ceilings and exposed piping, but they’re warm and inviting. "The location for easy access to flights is exceptional. Just across the road and your there. Amenities at Rydges were great and the handy restaurant and bar were fantastic. Food great. Reasonable prices and a good selection for both food and drink. Highly recommended. "

"Great value for the money. The property is set up with private suites and shared kitchen and laundry. There is a restaurant onsite. Location is great. Next to the shopping mall and lots of coffee shops. About 20 minutes walk from Bondi Beach. We took a bus from the airport. Did not use the shuttle."
