I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, my experience was mixed at best.
To start with the positives, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They allowed us to check in early, which was greatly appreciated after traveling, and every interaction I had with the front desk was pleasant.
That said, the property itself was disappointing, especially considering the price. The online photos made the hotel appear much nicer than it actually was. Upon arrival, the exterior looked run-down and gave off a less-than-comfortable first impression. Inside, there were several visible signs of disrepair throughout the hotel.
Our room also had multiple issues. The additional security latch on the door was broken, which immediately raised concerns about safety. We were provided only two bath towels and no hand towels or washcloths. The bedding appeared questionable as well, as there were what looked like dirt or makeup smudges on the sheets when we first arrived. Interestingly, those marks were gone later, leading me to believe someone may have entered the room to clean while we were out exploring the city.
The biggest issue, however, was the ant problem. There were ants throughout our floor and even on the nightstand in our room. We only discovered this after my friend was bitten. When I went to the front desk to ask about switching rooms or having someone address the issue, the staff seemed aware of the problem and simply handed me a bottle of Zevo bug spray so I could
