The cost to completely repair everything that’s broken, dirty beyond fixing, or simply worn out would be millions. The hotel fills a niche near the bottom of the scale, but it’s there and it’s affordable and necessary. It fills a need for an affordable place to stay. A lot of little things repaired would make a difference.

My room was clean and comfortable, but the property felt dingy and dated. The woman who checked me in did not look very professional, but she was very helpful. My room did not have a hairdryer, but she promptly provided me one as well as a much needed charger.

The price was very good. The room was clean and spacious. There were a few maintenance issues. Several light bulbs were burned out, the hair dryer did not work, the closet door was off its track, and the Satellite TV was not working. The staff were helpful but unsuccessful in programming the TV. For what I needed, a clean room to sleep, it was alright. The room had a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker all of which worked. The hot water was great and good pressure. I suspect the next time I stay there, these issues will be fixed.

Don't sleep on Chestertown Red. It has come from 3 to 8 1/2. The own needs to step up and fix the pool and start giving breakfast. But for now I will be back. Great Staff.

The AC unit was on its last legs. The security latch was broken. The bathroom was in fair condition, at best. The bathroom door latch and knob were broken. No housekeeping. 1 towel, and all the linen was grayish. Elevators were dirty. Hallways were dirty. There was a wrecked car up on jacks in the parking lot. The staff was nice, and helpful. I’d stay again, alone, but not with my wife. It was affordable and that serves a segment that I understand.

Arrived earlier than expected and the staff was very accommodating and friendly which made for an excellent stay from start to finish.

The staff at the front is very rude. Everytime I would go to the front I would have to say hello multiple times for somebody to come to the front to assist me. There was a guy on night shift with black glasses, would always say Jesus Christ or would mumble under his breath because it seemed like I was bothering him. The tv wasn’t working another night so I went to the front, and the lady told me it is what it is. This place is very unprofessional. The towels and washcloths were still dirty looking. Will not be back.

Stay was great. Booked 3 rooms for a family event. Check in was great and the staff was awesome. My room out of the 3 had an issue with the AC/heat. I explained the issue the next morning and when realizing they couldn’t fix the issue they were able to put us in another room. Very kind and professional.

The property is disheveled and dirty. Front desk attendant gave us our room and then tried to break into it saying that it was already booked to someone else and we shouldn't have been in there. My son tried to explain that it was his room, and she tried to use a screwdriver to pop the security latch. Gross and poor facility.
