The hotel was great, the service was fine, and the food was great! The only problem we had was with the drunks that were next door to us! We called the front desk at 11:00 pm and again at 3:15 am. The party was finely over at 5:50 am! The front desk told us if we would have called again they would have kicked them out. So beware they have a 3 strike […] rule. So use it early if you have too. The hotel did make it right by refunding $50.00 back and compensating use free breakfest.. (now we are waiting on hotels.com to issue the refund) Also Hotels.com has it list that the parking rate is $12 it is really $14. I will stay here again. 阅读更多信息

The Crowne Plaza was in a great location for a very affordable price. Staff was very friendly at check out. Room was as expected; clean and comfortable. Overall, it was a perfect place to crash after spending a night out in Downtown

Lousy service, unfriendly front desk clerk. Initially assigned room is by elevator, noisy. Bath tub drain does not work well. Missing comforter. Spent first night in misery. Given/changed a room after complaining. Called front desk for the ore-ordered roll away bed. Stated the bed will be rolled into the room at 4pm. Overall, It was a good experience. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were lumped together and seemed to have been sitting too long. When we needed the courtesy van to go to dinner, it had been sent to Arlington which is NOT in a 3 mile radius of the hotel. We walked.

The stay was miserable. When I went to check in, the lady @ the front desk was rude, I would speak to ask a question & she interrupted me 3 times before i was finally able to ask my question. The room was so tiny & on top of that one of the chest drawers the bottom fell out & the mirrored closet door got off track & got stuck we couldn't fix. Told the […] front desk & all he said was ok. The keys got deactivated had to go to front desk 4 times to get them fixed. Then to make things horrible the breakfast buffet had a live roach crawling around the food on a stack of plates. The restaurant manager offered to comp the meal, that I had already paid for & got coupons for free breakfast. So there was really no meal to comp. The pool area was nice. Kids enjoyed it. I stayed over Memorial Day weekend, which I'm sure had an effect on the pricing of our room, but I was still slightly disappointed at the quality of the room for the price. We had a double room and although the beds were always clean and comfortable, the bathroom situation was definitely not ideal. We had 4 guests in our room and had to request extra towels everyday to have enough for all of us. Plus, the cleaning service never picked up our used towels, even if they were left on the floor. This hotel is way past it's prime, from the wet floor in the room from the leaking toilet ( maintenance fixed promptly though i will add) the sagging ceiling tiles in the hallways , to the stained bed covers, to the constant bass noise from other rooms, to the rock hard bed then moving on to the parking fees this place was really a disappointment, I […] had always thought of the Crowne Hotels as a little more upscale . All rooms pretty much smells of cigarette smoke. Got a room with a "smoke cleaning fan" in it. The carpet was soaking wet, so complained and wanted a new room. For 10 min they said they were all sold out and couldn't get me a new room. The. All of a sudden a new room appear, not wet floor but the smoke smell was still there.

The night we stayed the hotel night club was hosting a pool party so there were tons of bikinis and topless men everywhere. Elevators were sooooo slow bc the pool is on the roof. Wouldn't stay there again. Definitely think there are better hotels for the price downtown

The rooms are a good size. The staff were nice. The hotel itself is relatively small, so it was quiet and more relaxed than some of the bigger hotels. I was attending a conference at the Dallas Convention Center and it was an easy walk. I liked the fact it had a laundry. I also liked the fact free internet was included. Good value.

Amazing location, within walking distance to the West End district and attractions such as the Reunion Tower and JFK Memorial. Luckily we had a corner room with a patio and a beautiful view of the city-- definitely a nice surprise as not all rooms had a patio. We appreciated all the Crowne employees we came into contact with. All very helpful and pleasant. Room and hotel was clean, quiet, which we needed, and comfortable. Neat view of the city and the pool looked inviting.. Food was good and service spot on. Would have liked valet service but everything worked out fine.

When we stayed, the hotel was completely booked. Our room was not ready but the staff was very friendly and apologetic. The service desk people remained calm as people screamed at them demanding their rooms. Everyone went out of their way to accommodate us. Would stay their again.

Phenominal location. Shuttle will take you anywhere within a 2 mile radius. House of Blues, American Airlines Center, Dallas Museum of Art, Ross Perot Museum etc etc. Dance club only Fri and Sat. Restaurant closes at 10

We were in town for just one night, combination of shopping, visiting and going to a hockey game. Hotel was easy to get to, front desk staff was knowledgeable and helpful, even offering the hotel shuttle for our trip to the game and back (actually saving us money since we would have had to pay parking at the event). The service was not good, it took forever for the check in line to move. Once I got to the front of the line it was a hassle because I wanted to leave a 100 cash deposit opposed to a $25 hold on a debit card. The room looks nothing like the pics online. I really enjoy the stay. It's too bad it doesn't come with the fridge where we can keep the food and drinks cold. The employees were excellent, everyone was very hospitable, dilligent, and friendly. The Hotel is very well located and the lobby is nice, but the rooms are very outdated, specially the bathrooms. For the price, they feel like a Motel rather than a Hotel, and the hallways have a really outdated looking carpet and dreary lighting, or maybe it's the colour […] choices, but it smells weird, as if they put way too much deodorizer (almost like those car one that hang from rearview mirrors in cars). The room's carpet was not too apetizing either. I still don't understand why most hotels still have carpet, when a good tile floor would be so much easier to clean and dissinfect. During my visit, there were about 200 college teens in town for a volleyball tournament. We were conveniently placed on the same floor as them and didn't sleep at all. Random people knocked on our door and ran off.. there were beer cans left in the hallway... and it took a good 10 minutes for elevator service. Upon checkout I was asked if i enjoyed […] my stay. Unfortunately there was a volleyball tournament in town. I feel like I went to college all over again. The lobby was packed all night, you could not get to your room because all of the elevators were full. Kids were up partying all night, I had to keep the TV on to fall asleep? I'll start by saying this stay was quite possibly the worst I've ever had. We chose The Crowne Plaza because of it's downtown location for a quick trip with friends. Upon arrival to the hotel no one was helpful with our luggage to the room at all. By the time we got to the room after showering we realized the shower did not drain water. With no extra […] rooms we chose to stick it out. After a night on the town we returned to the worst part of our stay. Apparently during weekends the hotel rents out part of their downstairs area for a trashy nightclub. The Hotel Bar is not available during these hours to hotel guests and the lobby bathrooms are blocked off by security (THE HOTEL BATHROOMS). After waiting in a 15 minute line to take the elevator to our room we were approached by a hotel employee to ask if everything was alright. Far from "Alright" we described our discontent and the hotel employee said, "Oh well I'm sorry, have a great night". Needless to say upon checkout I was not surprised they did not even ask me or my wife how the stay was. All together this was definitely the wort hotel experience in my life. I would highly suggest staying elsewhere while in the Downtown Dallas area unless you want to be highly disappointed. 阅读更多信息

I arrived just after 3:00 but there were no rooms available. I didn't have to wait very long, but they weren’t able to give me the room I’d reserved (and prepaid): a 2-bed room because a colleague was joining me later & fridge & microwave (F & M). I was given a room with F & M but only 1 bed and told I could move rooms later. That evening, I spoke with […] a manager who said I could change to 2-bed w/F & M the next day. I called the desk next AM to confirm I'd be able to change & was told there’d be a 2-bed room w/F & M ready later. I went out, returned around 11:30AM, & talked to front desk--again being very clear about the room I needed. She said there’d be one ready before I needed to leave again at 1:30. No word by 1:30; I called front desk & was told they had a new room and would bring me the keys. I moved to the new room & was struck by a strong unpleasant odor, no in-room safe, & NO microwave. I needed to head out, so when I returned in the evening I called the front desk & asked them to bring a microwave. The woman said they couldn’t do that, so I explained my story again & asked to be moved to room type I’d requested & paid for. The woman told me there were no rooms of that type. After a minute of back & forth she finally told me there was a microwave in the lobby for guest use. I was thankful but wondered why I hadn't been told that before.
