After driving for nearly five hours and not having much sleep the past three days, I really wanted to just check-in to my room and get to sleep before... my flight the next morning without having any interruptions. Unfortunately, all of these goals were inhibited by the incompetence of the staff at Ramada. When I got to the hotel, I waited in the lobby for around 30 minutes before being attended to. When I was, I was treated to the same bad service the previous guest was. The staff did not know what rooms were available, whether there were any rooms available, or what rooms were clean. The cleaning staff had left, apparently, so for them that implies that nobody knows anything anymore. The staff would call the phones in the hotel rooms to see if they were available, not knowing any other way. There were scattered pieces of paper all around with room numbers that may or may not be available. When I finally got to my room and had gotten situated, I received a call from the front desk. THEY WANTED TO KNOW IF MY ROOM WAS AVAILABLE! Are you serious? And the next morning, while I was in the bathroom, my door was opened to see if anyone was staying there. Completely ludicrous.
