The location to Nashville was great. Not far from many sites. We took the Gray Line Tour...AWESOME Tour for the money. Our driver was very informative of the area! The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful with this. It off the highway and we had a quiet night for sleep. Breakfast was good. The hotel was very clean. I'd stay here again!

We were very pleased with this hotel. It is a good value and we will return. Front desk was friendly and the lobby comfortable. The room was small but clean and comfortable.

The hotel was great for the night we were there. Not too much ruckus, and very clean. The rooms could have been a bit more updated, but were very suitable. Not too far from downtown Nashville, but far enough away that you don't feel crowded. Overall, great stay!

Hotel was very nice for the money. Breakfast was hot and very full of choices. Room was a little small considering they say oversized rooms. Fan did not work in the bathroom. Overall we were very happy with our stay. We would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here one night after moving my daughter out of college for summer. Very close to airport, 7 min ride. Hotel is very clean and beds comfortable. reasonable price.

Minutes from the airport and downtown Nashville. I was able to enjoy the benefit of being in town without being drowned out by the commotion when I was trying to sleep. Very pleasant.

We had booked with LQ but needed an extra night which wasn't available @ the same rate so we cancelled & booked @ the Alexis. We were pleasantly surprised; clean rooms, great breakfast, friendly staff, minutes to Opryland, a short drive downtown & right across the road but off the highway from the LQ

It was ok...the main thing we didn't like is that the bathroom is literally 2 feet from one of the beds. We liked the suite, as its separated from the sleeping area.

Not impressed- has the feel of a boarding house. Room was very small and cramped. I paid way too much for this room. I won't stay here again.

Came from out of town (approx 6 hrs) to run the 2013 Rock n Roll Marathon in Nashville, TN. We found this hotel last min online and booked a standard room. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a suit at no additional cost to us. Unfortunately, upon desiring some late night left overs and had to go ask for a fork to eat it with I was denied a simple fork. […] This from a hotel that would be serving continental breakfast in approx 5 hrs. Hotel was right off the freeway, so easy to get back on the road. No noise from the traffic. Beds were fantastic. Very comfortable.

This was perfect for us ... me and my two teenagers, on a visit to Vanderbilt U. The room was larger than many comparable places, spotless and everything worked. Very nice hot breakfast included, and even when we had to leave really early (about 5 am) after the 2nd night, they had coffee, juice and muffins for us. Less than 15 minutes to downtown attractions […] or the University, and thanks to one of the other reviews we discovered Bar-B-Cutie just down the road, which was great and very reasonable. The staff wad great! !!! The bed was heavenly. We had a broken ironing board but t he gave another one the next day. But overall it was nice.

There were fresh flowers in the landscape. The building seemed to have new paint inside and out. Very comfortable rooms. Attention to detail from the staff running the hotel.

I researched many hotels for a bachelorette party weekend with my friends (we are in our 30s and wanted something affordable & quiet but close to downtown) before deciding on this one. The downtown hotels were very expensive and this hotel was just a short distance from downtown. You can take a shuttle for $5 per person downtown which worked since we […] had 7 people (but we had a bad experience with our shuttle and had to swap to another one on the side of the interstate!) Or a taxi ride is $16. The best part was the checkout was at 1pm!! Its not a luxury hotel but for the price it was definitely worth it and you can save your money for going out. The hallways were slightly musty smelling and hot but the rooms were spacious and ours even had a living room area. The free breakfast was good. The Alexis isn't fancy. But, if you're looking for a convenient place to stay for just a night, it fulfills your needs nicely. It's a little tired, but it's very clean, and the beds/pillows were surprisingly comfortable. For dinner, check out Barbie-Cutie just down the street for excellent BBQ.

This was decent for what we paid. The room we had definitely needed the carpet replaced. Looked like they just kept adding patches of carpet as it wore out or was stained. The bed and bathroom was clean and comfortable. The price was good. Breakfast was very good selection.

Absolute "no frills" place to stay but was the best choice on price and location for our trip. My son and I stayed a couple of nights for the SEC tournament and the Alexis was half the price of hotels in town. We weren't there for the night life anyway so we didn't mind the drive. The beds were comfortable and the room is nice sized.The hotel needs some updating in the rooms. The carpet is worn. The breakfast buffet was good. There's nothing around the hotel as far as restaurants. We were in town for a tournament and wanted a reasonably priced hotel. We would consider staying there again.
