They let us check in early and we were exhausted so that was great. We had to take a lesser room but that was fine. Then hot water in tub would not turn off that night so they moved us to a queen, and a very tiny room it was. Generally I can rent a Quality Inn room with 2 queens, coffee pot, microwave, fridge, table, chairs for $79 with breakfast a […] night. Understand this is NY but seems to me there should be more perks. Had to request a coffee maker and that was all that came with room. No breakfast just one snack machine and one drink machine. This is a wonderful hotel in a great less busy part of New York. It's close to Central Park, museums, shops, and restaurants. My stay was impeccable. I love this hotel. I stayed here many years ago and I guess stopped because it is a little more expensive than some of the others in the area I frequent as well. Very comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff, great restaurant adjacent to hotel for breakfast and other meals. Located in a very fun area of the Upper West Side with lots of interesting shopping and wonderful restaurants, most of which have outside dining--very European in feeling. Just blocks from the Natural History Museum and Central Park but […] with subways and cabs, not far from anything! I took the subway to a seminar in the Columbia neighborhood (very far north) every day and got there in minutes. we had a room with 2 double beds. I could see a room with one bed is would be really too small. The beds were very comfy, the room was quiet but we were on the 10th floor. Lower rooms on the street probably wouldn't be. The decor was a bit gloomy, brown and gold. Very good overall.Hotels.com 真实住客点评

Overall we thought the hotel was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful and the neighborhood was perfect. However, the reason we are rating this hotel a 3 instead of a 4 is because the room was really tiny for a family of 4 and the air conditioning unit was terribly loud which made it difficult to sleep. I don't think the room could really […] accommodate two double beds...there should have just been one queen. Nice, clean hotel; however, the bellmen/doormen not so good. It was pouring rain and several people needed a cab. One doorman simply said that it was very difficult to get a cab from there. "Just how I expected a New York hotel to be."
Loved the Lucerne, it was in a great location, close to the subway and close to plenty of places for eating. The room wasn't huge but elegantly furnished and very comfortable. My mother and I took a girls trip to New York and really enjoyed our stay at the Lucerne. The location is fantastic, close to Central Park. "A good place to stay in Uptown West"
When we arrived to our room, the room was not made. The linens were folded on top of the unmade bed and the shower had no curtain so we called the reception and they moved us to another room.
