Competitive price for a very nice hotel. Room service was important to us, since our flight was delayed and nothing was opened when we arrived. Also breakfast room service was great every morning.

Great location close to Georgetown, nice ,clean Hotel. The things who bother me is they have a pool and a sport center but they charge you $10.00 to use it and an another $15.95 for using the wifi.If you pay $300. a night to stay I find it to be tacky to beHerve charge extra,

If you happen to get gold level - it will be your best stay ever. Overall, clean hotel, with great service. I did not expect to like it so much. Not sure why this hotel has 4 stars. To me - it should be 5 stars.

My family and I were so thrilled with the Fairmont in DC. We upgraded to the 9th floor Gold and were treated like royalty. It will be a great memory for years to come!

I have stayed at many hotels in this area and continue to rate the Fairmont as the very best hotel in the Georgetown area.

Spacious room(and bathroom) -- even the rollaway didnt cause the room to feel crowded. Only a few blocks from a Metro station making it easy to get around town. Only downside was the noise between rooms and the hallway.

overall great stay with my family. quality room service food and the 10 minute walk to georgetown was amazing. My only quibble was the $5 charge to use the swimming pool and jacuzzi.

Great hotel in a nice area of town. Walking distance to Georgetown. Hotel staff helpful. I needed a microwave and they delivered it right away. It costs more than the hotel I stayed the night before, but certainly worth it.

The exercise room and pool were closed due to renovation which was a disappointment. The concierge level is well worth the expense.

While the hotel itself is beautiful, it was the friendliness of the entire staff - from the person who checked us in after midnight to the valet to the restaurant staff - that made our stay so enjoyable!

A 10-15 minute walk to Metro, not bad, except if it is raining and you are carrying luggage. Room type reserved not available at check-in (4PM in the afternoon) and no offer to adjust. Unable to use personal Wi-Fi - forced to use Hotel site from teh room, fortunately have a President's # or it would have cost $$. Hard to find anything not to like about the Fairmont. The pool area could be modernized a bit, but it's all as clean as a whistle. The service in the hotel is beyond question. A very comfortable stay every time.

Have stayed at this location several times under different and current owners. The rooms are clean but a bit dated. Great bones to the building--lots of open space and the lobby and public areas are well-decorated. I was disappointed to find that I had to pay $15 to use the gym. Service at the restaurant was very slow for breakfast.

Parking is expensive, after 6:30 on Saturday and all day sunday is free street parking and a safe area for the car, you can save some money. Not a fan of double bed for two people, would rather have a Queen or king, Like any big city spend the extra $20 for a room that is overlooking the inner court yard, lots of sirens at night from fire station near […] by. The Fairmont continues to be a great hotel. The location is ideal for a short stroll into Georgetown and is minutes away from the Foggy Bottom Metro (orange and blue lines). At the price, the hotel cannot be beat.

It was my first time at the Fairmont in Washington DC - but it surely won't be my last. The proximity to both Georgetown and Dupont Circle is ideal. The room I stayed in was both large and airy.Highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel, nice location, nice staff and then for high premium expense you are still asked to cough up $ for internet and $15 for the fitness center. INCLUDE IT!! Come on!!

The entire staff was extremely helpful. We were upgraded to Fairmont Gold (no idea why but we are not complaining) and would like to throw a shout out to all staff at the concierge desk and lounge as they were all wonderful to us! A wonderful place to stay. Walking distance to all and the food at Juniper (the restaurant in the hotel) is superb.

positives- wonderful, upscale hotel within easy walking distance to Georgetown and Dupont Circle area. Negative- a $15 charge to use the hotel's fitness facility???? c'mon folks, really? Not a cheap place to stay (especially with a $45 parking fee) but worth it for a special event. But $15 to work out??? REALLY?

Upscale hotel with easy access to taxis, subway and bus services. Hotel staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. The room was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Easy walking distance to many restaurants. Great place to stay in DC.
