位置非常棒，交通便利，繁华地段。大街的噪音听的很清楚，房间很小，设施一般，感觉不太值，下次不会选择这里了。

酒店有点老旧，但还是挺干净的。我们住的房间很小，放进两张双人床和一张书桌就没什么空地了。周围有很多停车场 但是价钱偏贵。地理位置很方便

except that you can't make tea or coffee in the room, the hotel is convenient and comfortable to stay. its central location is a big plus. recommend.

就和孩子花了3天在纽约市。纽约酒店有一个很好的位置（第8和第34的角落）——1条街从Macy's来和在Penn Station地铁站的拐角处。可以步行去Time Square（42街），Rockefeller Center，High Line park, Chelsea, up Fifth Avenue的中央（57街）。房间大而新且重新装修的和干净的。Tic Tok Diner在酒店的角落是24小时营业有好的服务和分量。当你提早入住和行李提取时员工是出色的和乐于助人的。会乐意的再次住宿。

This hotel is geared to international travelers. From that perspective, it's well located to many tourist sites (Empire State Building, Macy's, Broadway theaters) and close to all subway lines. The rooms, while clean, are tiny (we had a metro room) and the street noise is hard to avoid. I do not know how travelers with large suitcases could walk around […] their rooms. At the front-desk Afroza was very accommodating as I arrived three hours before the official check in time. She was able to find me an available room; which was extremely helpful and appreciated. It was a beautiful hotel. Historic, well maintained considering it's age. Yes, there are some dated features (the bathroom specifically needs to be remodeled) but ultimately, it was a great choice and I look forward to staying again.

I was in NYC for 6 days and honestly, The New Yorker did a magnificent job keeping the stay pleasurable. I upgraded to a suite which helped a great deal. It was very spacious, clean and the staff was hospitable. Yes, the hotel is a bit dated and the main thing I'd like to see upgraded is the bathrooms but the cleanliness was never an issue.

I travel to NYC for business alot but this trip was for a week vacation and based on the fact I needed a hotel w two beds and wanted to stay around $300 a night , we ended up here. Although it is charming I was disappointed in the room itself. The tile needed to be cleaned thoroughly and needed an update overall. The location was great as its right […] on top of Penn Station. I would probably stay again for biz purposes but not when trying to show a family member my love of NYC. My nephew didn't know the difference but I did. Overall it was okay but not worth the money. although this is overall a decent enough hotel , we felt that the staff were per functionary but the concierge worked very hard indeed to satisfy people It is a large hotel so there is a lack of personal touch and if you asked for anything out of the ordinary such as being allowed to use the top floor viewing room then it was shut .... no reason or […] lea way , just shut end of. The whole surrounding area is one massive tourist trap and money magnet , it sucked the cash right out of our pockets for anything , very expensive and poor quality especially the food , avoid Times Sq like the plague if you want edible food , very small organic deli near hotel , still expensive but at least the food was reasonable quality. Far better to stay I think on the upper west side near to Central Park if poss , quieter less manic and cheaper food/drinks The Excelsior we stayed at last time was really good but Hotels .com didn't have a very good deal this time round 阅读更多信息

Loved our stay at the New Yorker. The location is perfect and the room, although small like most NYC hotels, was very comfortable and clean. Would definately recommend the New Yorker!

Based on my experience, I am quite baffled that anyone would rate this hotel as 4-star. This is a 2.5 star hotel, a 3 at best. I am not sure when the hotel was built but it is quite obvious that it has not been renovated for many years. Vintage decor is one thing but peeling porcelain in the bathtub, rotting doors, peeling paint on the wall, etc. is […] another. I have stayed at many hotels in the city and this is by FAR the worst, especially when considering the price point. Needless to say, I am very skeptical of the ratings and reviews for this hotel. I think most of the high reviews were given by tourists who were visiting the city for the first time. I learned that I would stay in a quieter neighbourhood, for example: Greenwich Village. It was a good learning experience for us and the hotel was just fine. We are 60 years old and would prefer a less frenetic place to stay. We would just visit Midtown/Theatre District and leave to eat and sleep.

Great location and great views of ESB if you request a view. The lobby is decent and the rooms very good. The only negative would be the very dated bathrooms but they were clean.

It is such a classic and historical hotel. We had a corner room on the 29th floor and the view was spectacular! The room was clean and tasteful. There were alot of people streaming in and out of the hotel so it was busy. The Tick Tock diner which is adjacent the hotel is open 24 hours/day so food was always available around the clock. My boyfriend and I went to New York for the weekend to see the sights, as my boyfriend had never been to NYC before and I had never stayed in the city. Not having any comparisons to other NYC hotels, I would say that the New Yorker was a nice place to stay. I enjoyed the decor of the rooms (art deco) and our room was clean. We had one issue with the […] air conditioning which we noticed the first evening. It was around 7-8pm and we called the front desk and someone came up no more than 15 minutes later to check it out. He confirmed the unit wasn't working and could not be repaired that night. After about 1/2 an hour, a bellhop came up and we were escorted to another room which was the same type and just as clean, but with a working air conditioner. I was pleased how quickly they handled the situation. I have a service animal (which I informed them ahead of time) and we had no trouble with them allowing her in. They were even nice enough to upgrade us to a larger room to give us more space for the dog! The neigborhood is nice, close to Penn Station and a number of subway lines with plenty of businesses around. We took the bus up from DC and it dropped us off and picked us up less than a block from the hotel. Obviously it is a bit pricey, but what NYC hotel isn't? I would definitely stay here again! 阅读更多信息

I like the location of The New Yorker, since it is close to the theatre district but not in it; it is relatively close to the school my son is attending, and I feel safe at the hotel. I believe like most NY hotels, the rates are too high, especially without a refrigerator, but I like the size of the rooms better than most in NY.
