The Inn at the Grand Glaize has been around for many years so I wasn't expecting a new hotel. But this hotel was clean and had very nice and helpful staff. The mattresses have seen their better days though and hopefully will be replaced in the near future.

We stayed before and was good, but now. The only thing that saved the weekend, was Chris, the handy man, the all round good guy. The TV didn't work and he fixed 2 times, not any wash cloths or hand towels, only one trash can and the ice was broken. We managed to have a good time.

I had high expectations for a room that costs $200 a night. Honestly the room felt like it was falling apart and just overall felt gross. The lobby was really nice and the staff was great, but it was not worth the money I paid. I wouldn’t recommend as there are better places in that price range.

Run down, not updated like we were told. Dirty rooms, afraid to sleep under covers and jet clothes on. Toilet broke constantly. Didn’t even want to walk with socks on in the room. Said there was a pool and hot tub but wouldn’t wish having my worst enemy use them. Ended up leaving and making the 5 hr trip home as the kids even felt disgusted by the entire place.

The entire place is in serious need of upgrading. Our room was adequate, but the 90's called and want their furniture back. The pipes underneath the sink counter that you can see while sitting on the toilet were black with dirt. There was no safety rail in the shower, tub. No bathmat. The door to the balcony was very hard to open and close. The deck on the balcony was questionable to stand on. The door in the bathroom looked like water damage. The room had carpet, and with the dust I saw on the table holding the coffee maker (which the pad the coffee pot warms on was dirty), I didn't want to walk on the carpet barefoot. We won't stay there again. The bed looked like, "Did they change the sheets? " The bed was wrinkled like the bed was made by a 5 year old. The hallway doors and walls have damage. It's in need of repair and overpriced for the rooms.

First! The staff was amazing and so helpful! We arrived a little early and they got us a room quickly. We walked down the hall with a strong Odor of Marijuana. We went in our room and it had a strong smell of pee. After looking around room the chair had goop on it, and behind chair was maybe shorts and underwear (I did not stay long to check). Went and the staff was extremely helpful and moved us quickly. New room was good nice view of the lake.

Super friendly staff attended there on the pub crawl. Opted for the Lakeview, which I’m glad I did. We had a gorgeous balcony room was extremely spacious. Two of us easily got ready in the bathroom together. Yes the only downfall was the lingering smell of marijuana throughout the hallways. The bartender was less than ideal. Did not know how to make half the drinks and the one she told us she could end up not having half the mixes for DJ was amazing. The food we ordered from the kitchen was pretty good. If they had a better bartender and their liquor was stacked up we would’ve spent majority of the night there even though we returned later in the evening to finish out the crawl. It is absolutely somewhere I would stay again. I believe Chris was the doorman. He had a wonderful personality and always upbeat. Definitely an asset! The ladies upfront were super friendly and very personable they even remembered when I had to call there a couple of weeks prior and given we had about six rooms booked up together. They accommodated us all and getting us side-by-side of each other so we weren’t scattered all over. Can’t wait to stay there again.
