most rooms are severely outdated, however the after (3) very patient tries from the front desk clerk (btw who was absolutely Awesome) we were able to get a decent room. Free parking is always Great! Continental breakfast was ok. Its about the LOCATION of this hotel which makes it convenient.

Needed a place to flop my head before an early morning meeting. It’s OK if you’re a single business traveler guy not for ladies on their own Front desk staff was amazing. Got a bunch of flea bites again. I just needed a place to flop my head. Got in late. I had an early morning breakfast down the street. All good safe.

This is the perfect place for someone who's just passing through and needs to get some shut eye. It's not for the fate of heart when it comes to train noise, but it is generally quiet otherwise. Unfortunately the neighborhood has been going through hard economic times and many of the hotels that were operating in the area have closed down entirely. Presumably because this hotel is old and likely paid for a long time ago it can remain open but there isn't a lot of extra money around to spruce it up. That's particularly true because there have been plans in place for a long time to replace it with a new modern hotel. I don't think I'd want to bring my family here but I found it to be the same last night as I found it to be 40 years ago when I stayed here on a regular basis. Comfortable close to the action and value oriented
