When I checked in, the staff seemed more concerned about texting on his cell phone rather than welcoming me. Another gentleman came in and they spoke... in a foreign language the whole time. If everyone speaks English, I find it incredibly rude to speak their native tongue in front of a customer! The guy at the front desk then asks for a $50 deposit, which I wasn't expecting. I finally got my room key and tried to find parking, since their lots were small and limited. The outside of the hotel was nice and newly renovated, but when I stepped into my room I was pretty disappointed. Very outdated with pieces of the wall missing and mold growing in the grout of the bathroom tile. This was also my first time staying at an Econolodge that did not offer a microwave/fridge.
