Very conveniently located, definitely visit the Butterfly Farm, it is magical! Highly recommend Walking Tour, Owen was a fantastic guide. Good food and so much history. Don't miss Shakespeare's birthplace, school and burial sites. Stratford upon Avon is a bucket list place to visit.

Difficult to operate the aircon in the room, slightly shambolic breakfast arrangement, cups not very clean, lack of choice of breakfast fruits. Very shabby seating in the bar area. On the plus side, very comfortable hotel and excellent for the theatre in particular as well as for the town centre. Parking at the hotel is £10 per night.

Our greeting was indicative of our overall experience. Courtesy combined with curiosity to discover what we hoped to find not only at the hotel, but also from the wider environment. Plans were hatched and all the staff contributed to a delightful happy hour cocktail; a sensational meal at a locally suggested restaurant and a good night's sleep. The hotel receptionist was a gem, who one day should be managing her own establishment, while the barman was very accommodating. We are going to return soon. Thank you.

Very welcoming and helpful staff at reception on check in. The bed was incredibly comfy and the room was very clean. Parking was available at the hotel and for a feasible price of £10 for 24 hours. We went to one of the bars/restaurant linked to the hotel, the Bear. Staff were very friendly there too and it was an added bonus to get 10% off all food and drinks. We will definitely be back.

Hotel great. The pub style restaurant run by a franchisee was very poor in our opinions. The baked Camembert was supposed to come with toast but came with bread so we had to get them to bring toast by which point the cheese was cold. The mains were mediocre in presentation and taste. A true disappointment in foods.

Excellent location with just a short walk into city centre beside the beautiful river. The hotel was undergoing some major maintenance work, however, it was clean and comfortable with excellent room facilities. All staff members were friendly and helpful. Great breakfast with plenty of choices. Would definitely stay again, however we would avoid the pub attached to the hotel called ‘The Bear’ which was very run down (ripped seats, broken chairs) and served the worst food we have ever eaten in a restaurant!

Great location and lots of posh pubs around the hotel to go meals in the evening. We had our meal at Bistro Pierre, which is attached to this hotel Lovely food and great service too.
