The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and did a wonderful job cleaning the lobby and breakfast area. Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast food was normal, but was served to you vs help yourself. The coffee options were very good.

The room was clean. I never used the gym or laundry but I assume it was also as clean as the rest of the hotel. The swimming area was clean and stocked with towels.

The big problem was they would not let our grandchildren come to our room without changing us 30 dollars per child. I have never heard of such. They should be ashamed for such. I will never ever ever stay at a best western motel again in my life and I will tell everyone that they are not family friendly.

The plusses: Large room nicely furnished and quite. Comfortable bed. Good hot breakfast. Some staff super friendly.
The minuses: a guy at the reception was not helpful at all; maintenance is poor: both sink and tub drain very slowly; the liquid soap dispenser was empty, I informed the front desk but when they serviced the room it remained empty. I chose this hotel because it was pet friendly. But the lawn where to walk the dog is littered with trash and dog poop. Responsible dog owners pick-up for their dogs but unavoidably some do not and most hotels take care of that. Also the grass was mown too high-one gets very wet shoes and pants walking the dog.
