Very disappointed, never updated, old furniture, old carpet. The only thing good, was a 4.5/5 for the breakfast. It was a full hot breakfast.

Front desk attendants and manager lacked the personal touch and acument toward my stay... Very bad will never stay there again, actually based on the check in experience, I opted to go to another hotel Avoid at all cost

Very friendly staff; Restaurant food was superb; the large hot buffet free breakfast was great, whereas most restaurants just offer a much smaller cold breakfast

I have stayed at the Ramada many times it is very central on xmas eve my wife and I swapped gifts I gave her PJs and a very nice pair she had them in some bags which got near the recycle bin in the room when the room service came they must have been removed on returning home she found we did not have she phoned and was told they would look into and […] phone back and yes we are still waiting Customer service was not the best and I am very disappointed in the Hotel and have not had this treatment before 阅读更多信息

The hotel staff was friendly and polite, the services were good and despite what I read before I arrived, I found the beds to be very comfortable (as long as you like a soft mattress, it was like sleeping on a fluffy cloud). We did have some issues with the staff trying to walk into our room TWICE (once without even attempting to knock), but they were […] extremely apologetic about it afterwards and I believe that's an issue of poor communication between the front desk and the cleaning staff. For one of the higher end hotels I expected more! There was nothing spectacular about this hotel. The rooms were just like any other hotel. The rooms were clean, but the beds were saggy and not very comfortable. It was nice and quiet.

We absolutely loved the hotel, especially the full hot breakfast. Everything was very comfortable - including the beds. Only problem was the very noisy entrance of our very drunk neighbours at 3AM. I guess that couldn't be helped but maybe the front desk could have intervened before they got to their floor and started YELLING! The concierge was very […] apologetic upon check out but didn't offer anything for our trouble. Apparently Ramada has a policy of a free room upon your next stay when something like that happens. It was alright but the high speed was not working made it a downer. Breakfast was amazing we thought. The pool is small and be careful of the water slide because when you come out of the slide you might just hit the side of the pool (only apx. 5feet from the slide) like I did and hurt my ankcle.

Traveling with two teenagers means WIFI is a must! It did not work for a few days of our stay. Although I am not completely tech savvy, I do know it shouldn't take almost 48 hours to get WIFI service up and running - even on a long weekend.Staff did not seem too concerned even after we complained.

Bed was not all that comfy and internet was down the whole stay, even though we were told it would be right back on, several times. All in all not too bad a spot, close to Dartmouth Crossing.

We typically stay in a downtown Halifax hotel but booked this one for its waterslide. The pool is small but our 7 year old had a BLAST on the slide. Our room was fair and what we expected. It seem to smell as though it was an old smoking room converted to non-smoking. Parking was free which was great (and not typical at the downtown halifax locations) […] and there was a large hot breakfast included. We aren't big eaters but for families looking for a big buffet breakfast, this would be ideal. The location is also great for shopping at Dartmouth crossing, Mic Mac mall and it's super easy to get to the bridge to zip over to Halifax. Everything was awesome! The only negative thing is we are a family of 4 and had booked a double room and the price was based on 3 and had to pay for the fourth person. This is the only time I have run into this at a hotel. The rates everywhere I have ever stayed in a double room was always based on 4.

As you can see by our ratings, for the most part we were satisfied with our stay. Our biggest complaints would be about the beds. We stayed for 2 nights and the beds sunk in the centre (really bad) with the sides staying way up high. 2 nights of very, very uncomfortable sleep. We would have changed rooms but a staff member cleaning the rooms informed […] us that the beds were all the same in all rooms and they were all new mattresses last year. So based on this info, we stayed where we were. The second complaint was dining room at breakfast. The room was a mess, from one side to the other. For both mornings, there was food and debris on the tables and floor. No hustle to get things cleaned up for coming guests. No ambition from the waitresses either. Very disappointing and unnecessary. Pleased with accommodations. We had previously stayed at this hotel for a family wedding and we were very happy so when we had to return a couple of months later, we once again chose this hotel. Exceptional buffet breakfast and the staff were very courteous, hospitable and helpful. Will definitely stay again, the next time we are going to the city.

Hotel and Room were exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff were very accommodating, Our extreme last minute check in went very smoothly. Thanks Hotel.com without you we would have been stuck overnight at Halifax Airport.

Was close to popular shopping destinations, was very family friendly with a pool, waterside, and buffet breakfast included in our room rate! The pool was a bit small though!

This was a hotel of last resort. The entire city of Halifax was sold out and we ended up at this Ramada in Dartmouth. It was quite loud at times as there seemed to be a number of parties going on on our floor. It was only for one night and the hotel was full so we didn't ask for a room change.

We recently spent 3 days at the Park Plaza Ramada in Dartmouth while touring Halifax and were really pleased. Our room was comfortable and exceptionally clean, especially the bathroom. The hotel had enough amenities for a shorter-term stay: a restaurant, a fitness centre and a pool with water slide for the kids. There is not a lot within walking distance although there is a Tim Horton's close by for coffee etc. The hotel restaurant is decent although a bit pricey. Breakfast was included with our room. The hotel is located in a nice area, better then the previous hotel we stayed at which was the Days Inn about 5mins from the Ramada. The hotel staff was super excellent and friendly. This was for our 6th anniversary and I had requested a bottle of champaign waiting in the room and it was no problem to them. The room size and good and the king size bed […] was lovely. The room was super clean. We did have to switch rooms upon arriving since I had requested a room with a mini-fridge and the first room was missing it though it was suppose to be in there. The pool is great and the slide is a ton of fun, the gym is a decent size but the treadmill seems very loud. Did not try the sauna. The hot tub was nice but it should be located not in the same room as the pool since theres pretty much no privacy. The free breakfast buffet is excellent and alone worth the booking! we had it every morning for the 3 days we stayed. Wish the rooms had a 32" LCD tv instead of a old fat tv.
