Gild Hall, A Thompson Hotel - 纽约

酒店员工提供非凡的服务；每个人都非常令人愉快和热心助人。这绝对是商务人士的酒店，西式/牛仔的装潢，没有礼物/药店，但是为女性旅行者提供化妆（脱毛！）镜子，吹风机和睡裙。室内保险箱保存珠宝。位置很棒有几条地铁线路只有几个街区的距离。我唯一的不满就是房间没有舒服的椅子。

理想的位置去 Battery Park公园， 9-11 Memorial 纪念馆和金融街。房间非常干净，酒店员工友好，除了有些前台服务员好像不清楚酒店在哪里，怎么去附近餐厅等信息。总体来说他们非常乐于助人。房间不适合和不认识的人一起分住，因为绝对没有浴室隐私因为浴室是玻璃墙和门，位置非常小！这是我第二次住，强力推荐！

这是一家很棒的精品酒店，但是服务和房间价格不匹配。信息包的细节不正确，磁钥匙反复失效（我在那儿呆了5次试了20几把钥匙），大多数的服务员都有一种超然于外，非常冷淡校园式的服务方式。而且他们的Wi-Fi还收费！！

My partner and I have stayed in Thompson Hotels all over the world, so we were incredibly surprised to be so let down by this dud of a property. Let me tell you, the lobby is gorgeous and its hotel bar and restaurant are extremely well appointed, but the rooms in this location are bland, boring and not worth the money. (We were told they had problems with too many late check outs, and not enough cleaning staff--- that is why our rooms wen't cleaned until at least 5 pm one evening, and don't even think about an early check in --despite what they may tell you in advance.) The hotel is beautiful, the staff is very kind, the location is excellent but hard for car service to find because the address is not accurate for the front entrance. I've stayed at this property twice now. First time the staff forgot to call to wake me up two days in a row! They have an antiquated wake up call system -- the staff does it, but they […] are never on time with it. First time they were a half hour late, second time a full hour late. This most recent time I stayed there, the staff was 10 minutes late with the wake up call. I will bring two alarm clocks if I ever stay there again. I like the feel of the hotel and the amenities were fine. There is a feeling of a being in a european hunting lodge. The only issue was the bathroom door is somewhat see through and this made the female members of the group uncomfortable. This is an incredible hotel. The charming, efficient staff will do everything in their power to accommodate you. It's stylish and elegant without being over priced and pretentious. As per usual a good stay at Gild Hall. On this occasion there was a water leak from the bathroom in the neighboring room which cause a small section of carpet to become damp. I reported the problem on discovery in the morning and the Staff responded promptly and courteously to come to my room within minutes to see the problem. Staff nice and helpful. Easy to subway. Location will be better whe storm Sandy is all cleaned up. Included breakfast (deal when I booked) was nice. Hotel will probably be more expensive whe Trade Ctr reopens.

Gild Hall is extreme beautiful. Upon entering the building you get the feeling of being in a Colorado hunting lodge. Rustic decor, animal furs, and a Western US appeal welcome you. On top of that, the service was exceptional. On a scale of 1-10, I would recommend this hotel to others, my answer is 9.5!

My husband and I spent the weekend in NYC. Our purpose was to see NYC as opposed to remaining in a hotel room. The Gild Hall was so close to restaurants and diners; all open as well as the subway. Nice rooms and great staff. Location can be tricky to find unless you know the Lower Manhattan/Financial District. Rates can be pricey compared to other options in the same area. No free wi-fi.

On the one hand, the linens and the plush robe were just what we expected for a boutique hotel. On the other hand, when a boutique hotel lists as one of its amenities the brand of shampoo, etc. that it provides, one expects to get more than just shampoo and conditioner--there wasn't even body lotion! We chose this hotel, in part, because of its on-site […] restaurant: we are informed upon arrival that it is closed in anticipation of a new restaurant coming in: since the hotel had our email address, a heads-up would not have been much trouble for them. The room lacked a coffee-maker--how can that be in this day and age!?! Again, for its luxurious build-up--we got exactly 2 towels, hand towels and wash cloths. The site said turndown service. We asked for our room to be refreshed after 4pm--that happened, but not turndown service. The ice bucket--a glass container, not insulated that held less than 2 cups of ice. This was a great hotel. Beautiful and masculine which is unusual. The service was excellent and I would certainly stay again. Financial district does not have a lot going on at night but the hotel has a nice bar and the south street sea port is near as are multiple train lines.

The hotel was really nice... My only thing I did. It like was the glass doors for the bathroom... I kind of like my privacy... So we had to take the throw blanket connected too two hangers and use that to cover the doors...
