We needed a place to sleep on a quick stop over in Burlington and because of the state high school baseball playoffs all the more well know hotels were booked. This left us with little choice with the Microtel being one of them so we took a chance. What a surprise when we got into the lobby and into the room. Clearly they have spent a lot of money on a reno and the room was spotless. It was small but looked brand new, was super clean and did not smell at all. The bed was comfortable, it was quiet and the water temp and pressure was perfect. Truly shocking for 1/3 the price of the other more well known chains. If you are skeptical, I was too and slightly dreading it but it was actually outstanding for the value. It might be too small for several nights or a week but if you just need a quiet, clean room for the night in Burlington, the Microtel is your answer.

The room was clean the property looks like a rescued hotel that was abandoned still needs a lot of work. I got to the property 1 hr befor check in and the owner charged me $25 extra i had to go to my event and change. I was on the road for 7 hour's So I had no choice but to pay the $25 I also paid a higher rate for that room then usual because of the convention that was going on in town I defenetly won't be staying there The front desk lady and cleaning lady where Super Nice , but the owner needs to learn from them

Air Conditioning was effective. Parking felt safe and easy. The extra $100 "incidentals" deposit required at check-in with the 7-10 day hold on your card was not communicated prior to arriving. The room was smaller than an average hotel room. It was crowded with just me and the queen bed.
