Nice place and location was great. However mold on the bathroom that had obviously painted over before and pool was supposed to be open but had a closed sign. Staff could have been friendlier but it was very clean and decorated nicely! Overall, I would stay there again if the pool was up & running.

The staff are very friendly. While they clean the rooms daily, they do not make the beds and did not change the linens during our stay. The breakfast is generally fine, but this time, I was told that they do not serve eggs or a breakfast meat if occupancy is less than 50%. They do have fresh waffles and biscuits and gravy and a good selection of muffins, cereals, etc. The location is convenient to several good restaurants in Manheim and Lititz. Hopefully tourist season will increase business. The price for the stay was hard to beat.

Evening staff was friendly and helpful. There was a travel soccer tournament in area and many of the players were staying at the hotel. The front desk staff made sure that we were on a separate floor so we could have a quiet night and he gave us a free upgrade on our room.

Breakfast had very limited items. Sausage gravy looked old and dried on side of pot. Biscuits were not fresh. Hard boiled eggs. No fried eggs. No fresh fruit. Hot water for tea was like warm. Toasters for bread and bagels had crumbs everywhere and I questioned when the last time they were cleaned. Saw no overseeing the food area. We left and had our breakfast at a restaurant near by. So much for free breakfast. Staff was friendly at check-in. When we checked out no one at desk. Instead a basket with a sign drop room keys when checking out.

The rooms are very outdated, worn out and really needs a complete renovation. They really shouldnt be charging prices for what you get. They are building a new section which will help, but until then i wouldnt recommend staying. I also expect certain smells are going to be diffrent in diffrent areas however the pig farm should be noted for people with sensitive smells.lol
