The desk clerk was absolutely the friendliest both day and night. The breakfast was fresh and the gal preparing it was also very nice. The hotel is old but you can tell the employees take pride in their jobs.

The room hadn't been vacuumed with all kinds of stuff on the floor. In addition, my son, who has asthma coughed and sneezed most of the night with allergies. We finally turned the air conditioning off completely and the coughing ceased, but we only slept for 4 hours and the room then was stuffy. Breakfast was great and staff was great.

The hotel smelled bad. Our room was stinky and not maintained well. There were stains on the linens. Honestly it didn’t feel safe. We were told where the safe parking spots were which automatically implies there are security issues. The kids had fun at the pool. There was no elevator? So we had to drag a weeks worth of stuff up three flights of stairs because…it wasn’t safe to leave in the car. We did not eat breakfast because we were just grossed out.

Staff was awesome, accomodated a last minute extra night by not making us check out at 11 but slid us into another room right away. The rooms were dingy, pool temp was about 50 degrees so not swimmable and hot tub was grimy. Breakfast was ok, coffee was good!

No elevator and we were on the third floor. My 79 year old mother was with me and it was difficult to carry luggage up three floors. Beds were uncomfortable. The window seal had many dead flies. The television remote was difficult to work and took over 30 minutes to achieve a channel. Staff was helpful.

Yes the hotel is dated, but the important things are well taken care of. The bed is fantastic, the pillows are new and fluffy and the bath towels are thick and soft and the room was spotless. Yes there are scuff marks and old caulk etc, but every surface was very clean. Breakfast was as expected, the pool was fun and the staff were super friendly.
