Very noisy staff starting at 08:00 am. The rooms are dusty and smelly. Paint on the walls and furnishings missing. Nothing matches. The fridge did not work. And they did not change sheets, still dirty marks from the previous tenant.

We checked in very efficiently and fast, did not have to wait whatsoever. Then proceeded to our assigned room to drop off our items since we were running late to a concert. In the midst if the chaos, I locked the room with the keys inside despite having just gotten them 10 minutes prior. When back to the checkin lobby before leaving to my concert and they were super friendly and understanding and immediately gave me new keys. Checkout was also hassle free and quick! Super quaint and quiet area and the room was really nice and modern.

The facility was quite dirty. Our room had holes in the walls, half painted and bathroom fixtures were not attached properly to the sink. The room smelled of strong Lysol cleaner that was unbearable.

We were looking for an affordable option while exploring Monterey Bay area and that's what we got. Clean, comfortable, safe and affordable. This is a very basic, older, remodeled motel. No frills, no extras. A little neighbor noise if you are on the bottom floor/near the stairs. The USB ports didn't work, but everything else did. Ice, but no vending machines. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The linens were crisp white and very clean. We felt very safe during our 3 day visit, parking lot as well. It's high on the hill, so you need to drive to everywhere, but it's only about 5 minutes to the marina. The staff, possibly the owners, were sweet and the pride they feel for their little motel is very apparent. We felt welcome. There is no place for kids to play outside, so for that reason alone, I can't recommend for families. Fine for adults, though. Bottom line, if you're looking for a clean, safe, comfortable, affordable place in the area, this will work. If you're used to little soaps, vending machines, pools/spas, not your kind of place.

Staff was nice but there was miscommunication with not wanting room service. Dresser door falling off and held by duct tape. Room needed paint work and some maintenance. Picture on app must of been from when they first furnished the room. The stairs need the rubber mats on them secured better. A few were not secure making it a hazard. With the rain, they were moving around even more. Location was great, close to everything.
