The staff at this hotel bent over backwards to help us with room changes and to ensure our stay was as comfortable as could be. The weather was terrible when we arrived, with heavy rain and flooding in the area. The staff assisted us with a room change that greatly helped us to be much more comfortable, and everyone was friendly, kind, and helpful. We would happily stay here again.

This is a lovely old, historical hotel centrally.located near downtown. Our room was large , airy, & bright. Bed was comfy & nice modern shower & bath. Loved the little courtyard with the fountain. Perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine. BYOB as there is no bar or restaurant on sight but just blocks from many options. Wonderful staff, easy, quick checkin, ample parking. We did not encounter any ghosts. Very enjoyable!

Could be cleaner, our room still had dirty towels and cleaning supplies left it like the housekeepers started our room and got sidetracked. Some fresh coffee in the lobby shouldn’t be difficult to keep for the guest but that was sketchy too.

A great place to stay. Larger hotel chains may provide more amenities during a stay, but they can't beat Malaga's charm. The historic property has clearly been carefully cared for over the decades. Its incredible courtyard setting perfect for quiet time away from the activity of the city. It's within easy walking distance of all the downtown Mobile sites and restaurants. To top it off, the staff are all friendly and eager to help make sure your stay is a good one. Malaga is a unique hotel and should stand out in downtown Mobile.

Plenty of parking the lady running the counter was all over the place taking care of things she apologized for the wait we had, and she took care of quickly (showed us where our room was and said if the key sticks she would help us! The property is beautiful (its older and has the creepy creeks) but it was safe and quiet! Ac worked wonderfully! 2 thumbs up

Slow checkin. Great location for our needs. Extremely comfortable beds and pillows. Soft, full-sized towels! Super cool courtyard at night. Had no idea about its history when we booked.

AC vent and surrounding wall were both covered in black mold. Room was generally dusty. Two of the windows in the room had aluminum foil covering damaged wind panes. Windows were dirty. The toilet paper holder was broken out of the wall and only partially repaired. The elevator was non functioning.
