We had a great stay at Colton Inn. The location was excellent and very convenient for visiting local attractions around Monterey. There was plenty of parking available, which made everything much easier, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the area. Our room was spacious with two comfortable queen beds, and the breakfast was a real highlight with plenty of food options to choose from. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others visiting Monterey.

Clean room. Comfortable bed. Nice and large room. No A/C but don’t need it. Open the windows for a breeze. Great location to walk to the wharf and restaurants. Nice breakfast on patio.

Clean and spacious room with the most comfortable bed we’ve ever had!!! There is a hairdryer in the bathroom but I didn’t use it as we were going Whale watching so it was a hair up day!!! The breakfast in the lobby was plentiful, cereal, bagels, waffles, toast, fruit and yoghurts, what more could you want!!! The location is about 15 mins walk from Fishermans Wharfe so really convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at the Colton Inn. Large clean room with a big comfortable bed. Basic breakfast but perfectly adequate. Easy parking at the hote in a safe part of town within walking distance of Fishermans wharf and several bars, restaurants and supermarket. There was no air conditioning but this was unnecessary in early May.

I didn’t even get a chance to stay in this hotel. I had a reservation for 4, but had a 5th person with me when I arrived. The 5th person was not staying with us. The lady asked me twice how many people were staying, and I said “4”. Instead of asking about the 5th person, she waited until we left, then contacted Expedia and had them reach out to me to cancel the reservation. Making assumptions is never good. This place will never get my business, and I will never recommend it to anybody I know.
