Le Pas Du Loup is a very convenient hotel for the main slopes of Isola 2000. Not quite sure how this hotel gets four stars, as it is very scruffy around... the edges, however the staff were generally pleasant and helpful.The room was clean, if small, and again could have done with some updating.(a panel on the side of the bath was loose, the surround of the bathroom lightswitch was missing - all minor niggles really). The food in the all inclusive buffet, however, was a very pleasant surprise. On our first night, the cold consisted of a good vartiety of seafood, including huge langoustines, prawns and smoked salmon, as well as a hot food selection, and a large display of desserts, cheese and fruit. It didn't get quite this good again, but other nights were more than acceptable! There is a ski hire room in the basement of the hotel, next to a room to store ski kit on the way out to the slopes, though has already been noted, this is not complelety secure, so probably not the best place for your own gear.
