Alaska Garden Gate B&B and Cottages - 帕尔姆

We stayed in multiple venues while in AK for 11 days and this place, by far, had the nicest customer service and hospitality. Breakfast in the fridge, ready to go, made the morning quiet and not rushed. When we come back to AK and find ourselves near Palmer, we will definitely come back to the Alaskan Garden Gate B & B. This was a great stay. The Alaska Garden Gate B&B is a great place to stay and when the weather wasnt great in Anchorage they provided me with great other solutions that worked out perfectly (to get out of the valley / go to a glacier and more). It was a very nice room and great for the price.

Very nice unit. Their should be a warning on the directions that they re-did the road and you need special directions now to find it. Host was wonderful. Interesting having a breakfast to microwave yourself at a B&B but it worked. The jacuzzi was nice, however the hotwater tank is not sized for it. It's a gorgeous location in Palmer. But pay a little more for the stand alone cottages. The lowest price room is in the owner's home. It's okay, but the stand alone cottages are better. Still, overall recommened

Karen was our hostess for our 1st B & B experience and everything about it was wonderful. We were in an apartment type setting with all the perks for preparing our own food etc. It was quiet, very clean, private and friendly.My 13 yr. old grandson and I would recommend it to our family and friends.

A location with great views towards the Knik Glacier. Our chalet had a bedroom , bathroom and separate living room/kitchen. We were not used to the American concept of B&B (ie DIY breakfast) but what was provided was OK. We would stay there again.

The breakfast didn't match what the website indicated. For the price we expected a larger "gourmet" breakfast. Not an omlette you heat in the microwave, and certainly not Folgers coffee.

They have a very nice service and the owner help us to do the laundry service too She also cooked the nice breakfast for us. We will come back again when we visit Alaska.

Listed under Anchorage but actually 45 minutes away. Listed as having 2 queen beds but actually has one and the other is a pull out from the sofa bed. Listed as having a hot breakfast included when actually our breakfast was in the fridge and we had to microwave it.

There were numerous cute little yellow cabins on the premises but we were housed in a converted mobile home. The unit was split into 2 units, one on each end (ours being the tongue end of the trailer). The front of the unit had been sided and painted but the back was "trailer house". The unit was clean. Workmanship appeared to have been done by a weekend […] carpenter with minimal skills and savaged material some of which fit the space - some did not. The brochure indicated a beautiful breakfast served in a "common" room with our guests but our breakfast was in a basket placed in our refrigerator each morning having been put there the previous afternoon. The food was ok but nothing like what was pictured. If I remember correctly there was mention of a lake on the property. We didn't find one! Directions to the B & B were sketchy at best. I mentioned this to Karen and she was amazed stating that no one else had ever brought that to her attention. There is a small grey line off the highway to the property. The property is delightful! The cabins are decorated beautifully and every amenity has been thought of to make your stay a pleasure. Karen is a gracious hostess and does everything she can to make your stay pleasant. The views from the units is outstanding. We want to go back and stay longer next time.

The cottage was charming and spotless, and the views and flowers were out of this world. The advertisement specified two beds; there was only one. The breakfast was very limited and offered nothing to non-meat or egg eaters. We had two nights there. The first morning we had a tiny bowl of fruit and coffee -- no toast or cereal. The second morning we […] asked for toast and we each got two small white bread pieces of toast with no preserves or jam. We are not fussy in the least and thought our request to forego the bacon, etc., would not be a hardship on the owner, and we were surprised to have nothing offered to replace the french toast and bacon. This is a B&B and we feel that cereal or an offer of more toast (or something!) should have been made. Regarding the two bed situation, the couch in the living room was made up for us to substitute for the extra bed for the first night. Karen is a very gracious hostess. Not much choice of breakfast, it is kind of take it or leave it. Since we had to switch planned reservation at a B&B because of complications at our prebooked B&B, this hotel was very accomodating. The service was excellent and it is a beautiful hotel and in the heart of the city. Good cocktails and the breakfast was great!

Probably ok but didn't meet expectations. Take note of the rules, especially your allocated breakfast time. There was limited food, late comers went hungry. There was no choice, spinach bake on second day was left by all. Rooms looked nice but don't look under the sofa. Karen seemed disinterested. Religious talk was off putting.

The chalet we stayed in was almost brand new, with a jacuzzi and a king bed. There was a great view of the mountains and a glacier off in the distance. Everything was very clean, the breakfast was very good. The TV reception was very flakely for periods of time, but we didn't go there to watch TV anyway. Zentral zu Strassenverbindungen gelegen, aber abseits vom Ort. Sehr gepflegte Gartenanlage. Karen bot einen freundlichen Empfang und das Frühstück am Folgemorgen war frisch zubereitet und schmeckte sehr gut. Wir waren in einem Cottage und wären gerne noch länger geblieben. Eine Strasse war in der Nähe aber u.E. nicht störend. Direkt an ein Waldstück […] angerenzend, mit der Chance früh morgens oder am Abend einen Elch im Garten zu sichten, vor allem wenn Äpfel reif sind (war bei uns leider noch nicht der Fall!) Il piccolo bed and breakfast è molto carino e pulitissimo. La colazione però è stranamente assai scarsa e con quantitativi limitati. Non si può entrare con le scarpe ma bisogna indossare pantofole fornite dalla padrona di casa (il cui cane però è autorizzato ad andare e venire come e dove vuole )

Ubicato in zona isolata lontano da Palmer città - indispensabile avere l'auto. Cordialità nell'accoglienza del cliente e stanze pulite e nuove. Lo consiglio certamente.
