The room was clean and comfortable. The location is good. Was easy to find. My only problem was the wi-fi. They charge $9.99 extra per night and I could never get a network to connect to because the wi-fi is so bad there. I called technical support twice and spent a considerable amount of time with them and still could not use it. The signal is very […] poor. This is our second stay at Westgate....the first time was FANTASTIC! This time not so much. I requested a ground floor unit and was given the run around about getting that. My mom is disabled and unable to climb stairs very well and she had to because they couldn't provide accommdations. The hotel, Cabins, Condo's & Grounds were amazing. I did not care for the hard sell of time shares due to almost being late for a meeting. If I would have been there for leisure would not of had an issue with learning about all the amenities & such

The beds were hard and uncomfortable and if two people set on the end together the bed would flip up in the air. Bathroom was small. We enjoyed the events they had on the facilities and personal was really friendly and helpful.

Check in was a nightmare; it took forever because there were not enough staff. Reps were doing their best and were nice and accommodating. Carpet in our room could have been cleaner - large spots. Grounds were nicely kept; the breakfast was good for the price; housekeeping was prompt when we called for more linens.

Kids loved the pool and wanted to come back. Liked the location in Branson. Do not like paying extra for Internet. What was worse is that even though escalated to Tier 3, the Wi-Fi in our building never worked. Most hotels in the higher end also have generally updated to HDTV in the rooms. The condos were great! Very clean, updated and the staff was really friendly. We were not bothered by the timeshare sales group and the only complaint was that the check in line was ridiculously long. They would probably sell more timeshares if they lessened the time in line, by the time you get to them you are beyond frustrated. I loved the hotel once we got passed the check in. I was not thrilled that we had to stand in line for over an hour just to check in. We arrived at 11 and weren't allowed to check in until 4. I found this to be a bit ridiculous, so instead we wasted money and gas driving around the town until 4. Once we were able to finally check in, we absolutely loved […] the room. Grounds were lovely; we were there Memorial weekend and there were American flags lining the road into the resort - what a great touch! Carpet could have been a little cleaner, but overall condition of room was good and quiet.

Perfect in every way! Staff was very helpful and professional. No worries about being bothered with resort tours, which I was worried about. Rooms were beautiful and spacious. I highly recommend this resort! We'll be back in the fall for certain!

The beds could be more comfortable and the food could be a litte more organized. They had breakfast on premises you can't take food out but had limited seating. Pizza had two people working the whole resort and looked like they where having a hard time keeping up with the demand for a busy weekend.

After a long day’s drive to the resort, there was nothing my wife and I were more looking forward to than taking advantage of the whirlpool provided with the room. - After filling up the tub above the jets as prescribed on the instructions, we pushed the button and attained no response. - I then made a series of three calls to the front desk seeking […] help with the tub, finally urging them to please send someone up to assess the situation. - After waiting 20 minutes, a maintenance person came up and was able to start the whirlpool once again… only to have black particles eject from the jets after being started. The maintenance person noted that he would go down to attempt to see as to whether someone could come to clean the tub. - After 20 minutes of never hearing anything, I called the front desk again to see if we could get our room switched or if anything had been decided about the tub. The attendant did not switch our room and noted that the black particles should just drain away. - I then attempted to forward my story on to management and they have neglected to respond up to this point. I recognize things are not going to always be perfect. How a company responds to something when the situation is not perfect determines whether they are worth your business. First of all the service at check in was slow,,polite however. Then they stuck us in a very average room. There was hair in the tub,,not ours, the beds did not have mattress covers and were not comfortable, I asked for an ironing board, never got it and I found a dead roach by the bed. I reserved a villa. The 1st line of the room description said "This room opens to a deck". The clerk put us in a standard room - with no cell service and a shower that ran out of hot water in 5 minutes. When I asked to be moved to the room I reserved, the clerk refused. I was forced to pay to "upgrade" to get the room I reserved. In addition, I waited […] in line 45 minutes to check in. Was a little hard to find. Nice little gated community tucked away just off the main road. Very quiet, the people were great. I was surprised to find they didn't have a continental breakfast, Not an issue as we would not be there for breakfast, My only real complaint would be that internet was $10 a day. Close to the strip, staff was very pleasant. My first room I was not satisfied with the cleanliness, I called the front desk and they very promptly moved my room which was appreciated. The pizza place that is on site had great pizza, I recommend if you are in the mood. We've stayed at this resort before and keep returning because it's wonderful!!! The rooms are very nice, especially the new condos..they're absolutely beautiful . The resort is close to all the action but doesn't feel like it, it's so quiet and peaceful there.
