"Convenient location but weird room"
Hotels.com 住客于 2013年02月19日做过点评It is the first hotel that I stayed in London. The location is quite good from Paddington Station. If you are taking the Heathrow Express or Connect to London, the fist stop has to be Paddington Station. It is more convenient after a long flight. But it is a bit difficult when you are in the Station for the first time. It has to be the exit next to the canal otherwise, you will go around about 30min at least to find the hotel. Take the canal exit and just walk about 8-10min you will find it among several new commerical and office highrise. Basically it is a business hotel. The checkin is rapid and service is good. But room looks a bit weird. The faciily in the bathroom is definitely designed for the diabled people. But the problem lies with the shower. It has no basin to prevent the water running around. After a single shower it will make the bathroom full of water flowing and you can't do anything about it. And it is not right that we have not been informed before checkin.

There is a river running under the hotel and this makes it sound like you are next to the motorway. I ordered a steak for an evening meal and it was so tough I couldn't cut it. They took it back and brought me back another just as tough. I had a glass of wine with my meal that tasted of vinegar. None of the staff speak English as a first language. "Work Trip"
The hotel is in a lovely location, very close to the historic berkhamsted town. The hotel room was comfortable and clean but a little dated. I did have to be asked to move rooms as my window was close to the Watermill which was a little loud. overall the staff were very pleasant but the breakfast service was a little slow.Hotels.com 真实住客点评

Nice hotel in great setting. We were ther easter saturday hardly anybody staying there so the atmosphere in the bar was non existant however 2 pubs accros the road.Television in room old fashioned with channels missing, poor sound. "Good budget hotel"
If you want a good value for money hotel in or around the Hemel Hempstead area this is the one for you. Food is okay and rooms are clean. Downside - big sign saying water out of taps is not drinking water. Also, TV is limited to just 4 channels (well was in the room I stayed in). Will probably use again.Expedia 真实住客点评

"Good hotel - could be great"
I stayed here for 3 nights - check in was friendly, room was a good size - with space to walk around in it. The food was good and staff were plesant. Both evening meal and breakfast were good quality. Free internet which was great - unlike other hotels where they charge too much to use the internet. Downside was that the hotel could do with a refresh […] on the stair carpet - it looked like it needed replacing but over all the best comment I can make is that I would use it again.
