Beautiful sea view room. Staff all very polite & helpful especially Stefan in the bar. The hotel is a good 15 minute drive away from Alghero, there is a bus but we found a car essential to do what we wanted to do. Our only compliant is that our 'double bed' was two single beds pushed together - not particularly comfortable.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel El Faro for five days on our vacation. the place is amazing and beautiful. The restaurant is first rate. If it was closer, I would go back every year.

The hotel is definately for couples and NOT for young children . There are many dangerous areas were children cannot be left alone . The mattress is horrendous and is possibly the worst I've ever slept on . Luckily we had a sofa bed for my daughter . I had to sleep in this as the bed was so So hard . The snack bar is terrible . And silly prices for […] rubbish microwaved sandwich . The dinner is good but like any a la carte you can leave still hungry . The gym is a waste of time and is about 45 degrees in there . This was the perfect hotel for us (couple aged 30 and 40, with busy lifestyles)... we wanted to escape for complete relaxation. The hotel is quiet, there are private feeling, bamboo shaded sunloungers up on the rocks, with access to swim in the sea from the little jettys, the pool was great - with shaded jacuzzi. We hired a car to take a few short trips […] into alghero, the grotte de nettuno, and down the coast to Bosa, there is a wonderful family-run restaurant and bar a short walk from the hotel, and a deli/shop in Maristella - otherwise, there are few/no local amenities (which was fine because we had the car, and appreciated the peace!) We didn't use the restaurant because it has a set menu, and wanted to experience other restaurants, but it seemed really popular with locals/weddings. The bar seemed to shut/empty around 10/11pm, and it was silent. We went in mid-end June, and were aware that we were lucky to catch the quieter season (we got upgraded to a sea view room, which was a great start to the holiday). I think we'll go back. 阅读更多信息

Beautiful location, very nice staff, good private beach, versus very tired rooms with poor Air conditioning, loose toilet seats, windows that do not close correctly> Overall the quiet, serene location outweighs the worn conditions of the rooms...at least once.

The El Faro at Porto Conte has a wonderfut south facing location and invariably good weather when we've been during May! Yet only a few rooms were occupied - the Brits have as yet not discovered the area with it's excellent early season deals! A very nice hotel only a few miles from the very nice (Catalan) Alghero!

The hotel location is its best sell, it is very conveniently located in the Nymph's Bay, which is beautiful, the design of the hotel could easily be a 5 star hotel and some parts of it has that feel; however, it is marketed and still is a 4 star, as hotel furniture and other details give you the impression that it could be better. The reception desk […] was extremely helpful during our stay, they organised that our rented car was delivered to the hotel (extra charge obviously, but reasonable), suggested sightings and kept track of our stay/enjoyment, which made the hotel outstand of the typical service that you sometimes receive in certain hotel chains. They upgraded our room due to low season and our long stay. Having said all this, there is room for improvement especially in the breakfast, as it is a continental breakfast. Due to the location, there is no alternative in the morning and even if you have to pay a supplemental amount, they should cater for having a chef delivering some food in the morning. Torno ogni anno ad ottobre per festeggiare il mio compleanno in questo meraviglioso albergo incastonato come una pietra preziosa fra le colline verdi profumate di mirto e il mare blu costantemente calmo e dopo un paio di giorni tutti i miei sensi si rigenerano e mi sento pronto per un nuovo anno.

Trivdes mycket bra på El Faro. Vi hade hyrbil under hela veckan och tyckte det var bra eftersom man kunde åka runt lite och också äta på andra ställen. Upptäckte mer av en händelse den fina stranden med bra lunchrestaurang inne i viken till vänter om marinan.

Kunne godt ha vært et alternativ til restauranten om kvelden da det bare ble servert 3 retters lunsj og middag her. Hotel molto piacevole, ben tenuto, discretamente arredato, ben attrezzato e molto pulito Prima colazione e cena in una splendida sala con panorama mozzafiato. Scogliera molto ben attrezzata con gazebo e lettini, facile accesso al mare per adulti Non molto ben organizzato il servizio di bar sia alla spiaggia che all'interno (scarsa l'offerta per un pranzo […] veloce a mezzogiorno, invece fondamentale, visto che si tratta di un hotel molto isolato, senza possibili alternative di ristorantini nei dintorni) Manca anche un piccolo shop e un servizio di quotidiani (davvero utili visto che è un hotel piuttosto isolato), anche se la bellissima Alghero è facilmente raggiungibile sia per bus che per taxi (però il costo è circa 30 euro a corsa). Posizione molto panoramica. Accesso al mare privato. Massima tranquillita'. Buona qualita' della prima colazione e del menu' serale che richiederebbe un pizzico in piu' di fantasia. Preferibile avere una macchina per spostarsi. Manca wi fi nelle stanze.

vista fantastica dalla stanza con balcone sul mare, servizio ineccepibile, un solo appunto sulle dimensioni della stanza, ci aspettavamo qualcosa di più comodo ma è anche vero che con quel mare è difficile spendere tanto tempo al chiuso....! un' ottima scelta e sicuramente ci torneremo.

Ein schönes Hotel in bezaubernd ruhiger Lage. Anfang Juni waren noch sehr wenig Gäste da, was einerseits sehr angenehm und mit sehr viel Ruhe verbunden war,andererseits war aber auch nur sehr wenig Personal vorhanden, sodass z.B. abends um 23h nur noch die MInibar für Getränke zur Verfügung stand. La situacion del hotel es estupenda con vistas espectaculares a la bahia y al parque natural. Ambiente MUY relajante y cordial por parte del personal del hotel. Hotel muy cuidado y con encanto. El Director Comercial del hotel, Giovanni, es una persona muy amigable y que ofrece excelentes consejos para visitar lugares cercanos a Alghero.

What a wonderful little place. We stayed here 3 nights during our honeymoon and loved every moment. The staff are really accommodating, the place has it's own coastline, and the outdoor area is gorgeous. The reception rented snorkelig gear for us when we asked them, and they were always ready to make you a beverage at any time. The hotel have their […] own sun beds down by the sea,with small bamboo huts you can retreat to if you've had too much sun. I have to say that the food was disappointing. They charged 36 Euro, have had a visit from the michelin guide, but the food was pretty average. The hotel is located a little outside of Alghero, So i would recommend a car here. まるで映画「地中海殺人事件」の舞台のような美しいホテル。スタッフは親切、部屋もきれいで恐らく全室ベランダ付きなのですが部屋からの景色も良好でした。私は利用していませんがWifiもあり単独滞在のおじいさんが毎日iPadを使っておられました。敷地内に砂浜はないけれど（歩いて５分の所にはあります）岩場に数名ずつのデッキチェアーが５－６か所、いたるところに梯子もありもちろん泳げます。船着き場もあって一度だけボートが乗り入れていましたので、そういうサービスもあるのかもしれません。他にも小さなプールが２か所、バール付きのテラス、人工芝でしたがテニスコートも１面ありました（コート・ラケット・ボール無料）。難点は近所にレストランやお店が無いので車が無いと若干不便な所。ただし空港にもアルゲーロの街にもタクシー […] で１５分位ですのでお金を惜しまないならば問題ありません。ホテルのレストランは昼も夜も２品ずつから選ぶコースのみですが美味しくてメニューも日替わりなので数日間の滞在ならホテルですべて完結可能です。でも対岸のカッチャ岬の灯台の手前にネプチューンの洞窟の入り口があり車で１５分くらいですのでレンタカーを借りるのがお薦めですね。ただし８００段の階段を降り昇りしなくてはいけないので足のお悪い方はアルゲーロの港からの船、これならば階段なしで入れます、をお薦めします。でも波が高いと船は出ません、車ならOKです。 阅读更多信息

Dieses Hotel ist als einziges Hotel direkt auf einer Buchtzunge gebaut. Das Essen (Frühstück) ist sehr gut. Abendessen zu teuer, jedoch kann man in Alghero sehr gut und preiswert essen. Die Anlage ist schön und sauber. Bessere Verdunklung in den Zimmern wäre wünschenswert, da nur kurze Verdunklungsvorhänge gibt. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Internet […] ist kostenfrei, was für Geschäftsleute und moderne Menschen immer freut :-) Der Strand ist durch verschiedene Höhen der Liegeplätze toll aufgebaut, jeder hat seine ganz private Liegeinsel. Ett vackert hotell för den som vill koppla av i en vacker lugn miljö. Rummen är fint dekorerade men sängarna var dock väldigt hårda och om ni väljer ett standardrum är dubbelsängarna smala.

El Faro Hotel ligt in een prachtige groene omgeving . Het hotel ligt op een schiereiland en heeft rondom een wijds uitzicht op de zee. Wij waren er in de tweede week van juni en het was er heerlijk rustig en relaxt. Zowel bij het zwembad als aan de zee kon je heerlijk genieten van niet anders dan het kabbelen van het water. Het ontbijt en het diner […] in het restaurant zijn erg goed en worden snel aangevuld mocht er iets op zijn. Ook vonden we de mensen die er werkten erg servicegericht. We hebben het heel erg naar onze zin gehad en vinden het hotel een aanrader. This is the second time, we been here, and it was't diaspointing us again, even though the wheather was bad. But we missed the good lunch at the restaurant, with several of italian courses, at the buffet. If you want a holiday in nice accomadations and quite surrondings, this is the place!

El Faro ist ein schönes, etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, v.a. von Italienern frequentiert und sehr ruhig in einer wunderbaren Bucht gelegen. Auf einen Sandstrand muss man leider verzichten, dafür sind in den Steinstrand kleines Plateaus für Liegen eingebaut, die auch hier Ruhe ermöglichen. Die Zimmer sind nicht sonderlich groß und nicht auf dem […] neuesten Stand aber ganz in Ordnung. Sehr gut ist die Küche, die Abendmenüs samt dazugehörigem Service waren ein Genuss. Siamo stati benissimo, l´hotel si trova in una baia bellissima, é molto pulito e accogliente, un mare stupendo ,il luogo ideale per chi ama la natura e la tranquilitá. Ci sono ca. 10 km ad Alghero , con un centro storico molto bello con tanti ristoranti, bar, negozi, ....

Je dois le dire dès le début: nous avions réservé une chambre pour trois (couple avec 1 enfant) avec vue sur la jardin, et nous avons été "upgradés" dans une chambre double + chambre simple communiquante avec vue sur mer. Forcément, mon avis peut être un peu biaisé. La vue sur mer (en face de Capo Caccia) est tout simplement magnifique et je la recommande […] vivement. Les prestations de l'hôtel sont très bonnes, avec 2 piscines d'eau de mer et un accès direct à la mer. Attention tout de même, la "plage privée" est en fait un accès à la mer, mais il n'y a pas de sable ici, uniquement de la roche. L'eau est superbe, et vous pouvait faire un petit tour de kayak dans la baie. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est exceptionnel, à 15 min en voiture de Alghero. C'est aussi un bon point de départ pour visiter le nord-ouest de l'île. Le personnel est très sympathique et parle anglais et un peu français. Apparemment, l'hôtel vient de perdre une étoile, puisque qu'il était indiqué à 4 étoiles quand nous sommes arrivés. 阅读更多信息
