Red Rock Resort is like being on a great cruise ship but with full power, no illness and no lifeboat drill! The restaurants were all great. Hachi has... killer lobster tacos. Terra Rossa has a molten chocolate cake not to be missed, and Yard House has not only an amazing selection of beers but a great Chicken Caesar. The music in the lounge has free entertainment and Saturdays has Michael Grimm for only $10.00! The Bar also had a great singer as well. Because of its location and catering to the locals, the resort draws a great local crowd who seem less interested in getting drunk and finding hookers and more interested in fun. I didn't see any roaming groups of bachelor party attendees or hookers.. Instead, we played the slots, and won.. (Buffalo is a great penny slot. ) We played bingo, saw a movie in the multiplex, bowled in the huge bowling alley, and It is all just steps away... not the miles you feel like you walk in the strip casino's. The pool is great! The pool area is huge with chairs, cabanas and a full service restaurant. You can dine poolside from its menu if you prefer. There is tons of help to bring drinks, food, etc. The full service spa also has a gym and pool. The rooms are really comfortable with down comforters on the beds and big bathrooms. The strip is only 15 minutes away, so if you really feel the need to go it is easy. The parking is also really easy and close.
