Overall, my stay was enjoyable but the receptionist I had to deal with needs to be retrained. Her customer service was appalling.

Perfectly adequate hotel near the government locations. If you are there for personal time or recreation, stay at the other Blu in town which is perfectly situated for shopping and entertaining

Overall the hotel suited my needs as it is located very close to Square de Meeus, the location for a new office development being undertaken for a client. Due to the time of the year (2nd to 7th Jan) the hotel and general area was extremely quiet, but as my stay was purely business it was no issue to me. I ate in the restaurant on a few occasions, there […] were some hit and miss dished if I am honest. I literally had to fight with the knuckle of pork it was so tough and gave up in the end, really not good. Steak as you would expect was cooked well and great taste, the only other thing I would say of the restaurant is the condition of the chairs, they are in really quite poor condition and really have no place in this hotel. Very nice hotel at a very good rate from Expeida. Room was good size and not crowded even with extra bed put in. Breakfast buffet was very extensive and served for ages so no hurry down in the morning. Close enough to town centre to be easy walk to Grand Place, past other sites along the way

Very helpful staff, one even offered to lend me his personal phone charger, when I forgot to bring a convertor plug.breakfast was amazing, with loads of choice and kept us going all morning.

The hotel is clean and lovely, however, the staff are not pleasant. We were woken up on both mornings by housekeeping inspite of the "Do Not Disturb" sign. In addition, we tried to reserve a table at the resaurant for dinner to be told that it was not necessary. Disappointed in service at hotel. Staff seemed friendly but over worked. When we arrived and checked in, our key didn't work in the lift up to our room. We were stuck in the lift for 10 minutes, kept pressing alarm but no-one came. Eventually the receptionist arrived and escorted us to our room, to find again that one of the keys didn't work. We got […] stuck in the lift 3 times during our 2 day stay. If it wasn't for other guests coming to our rescue we'd probably still be there! Also on our second night we asked for room service only to be told they only had sandwiches and salad available, even though on the menu there were several hot meals available 24hrs. When we complained about this the receptionist said he found 2 lasagnes in the fridge! He was the only person in charge of the hotel that night, no other staff were working. Hotel was very close to a bus stop and definitely within walking distance of downtown. Definitely a good choice for the cost conscious. The hotel staff were very knowledgabel on the public transportation system and helped direct us to the correct buses (both into downtown and to the airport). The hotel was undergoing renovation when we stayed there, […] so parts of the hotel were tore up. (We didn't have carpet in the hallways on our floor). But this was a minor inconvenience. This hotel marked the midway point of our 3 week adventure in Europe. What a sigh of relief when we entered the beautiful reception area. Even better, this was the largest room we were given in Europe. As an American, we are used to large rooms. This is a large room by American standards. Perfect for the 3 of us that stayed in the room. The bathroom […] had a separate shower and bathtub which was a nice but unnecessary bonus. The staff was very polite. The hotel is a far walk to the main areas in Brussels but the bus stop to downtown is within steps of the entrance and a cab ride back was only 7 euros. I am not a seasoned hotel-user, but my husband is and he was quite impressed with this hotel - he said that as chains go, it was pretty decent. Our room was spacious, very comfortable and clean. Our kids loved it, but I thought it smelt a bit odd. The window was broken and didn't close properly once opened and there was no carpet in the hall outside. […] Breakfast was good - we all ate well, and it was included it in our trariff (although coffee was lukewarm). Of course, there was no atmosphere/personality to the place, but that was to be expected. We took the wrong turn out of the hotel and ended up in a run-down part of town, but coming back we discovered the parliamentary buildings and a charing square with lots of nice-looking cafes and restaurants. pos: - Nice hotel - good location - good help from the desk con: - parking. Too expensive in the garage and on the street there are no parkingplace - Wireless connection was horrible. If there was a little connection with the wifi it disconnected within few seconds.

Breakfast was expensive but everything else was perfect close to all amenities, staff were very polite and spoke very good english. Only 20 mins to the grand place in centre of town. 5 min walk to metro and bus stops just outside hotel, eu parliament only 2 mins away

We had a very large room for 4 of us - my partner and our 2 children. It was lovely and very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and professional. The location of the hotel was quiet but close to public transport and we considered a good location to explore the city. Found the hotel to be very nice for the money, large enough room for 3 people. The breakfast was good but should have better quality on the scrambled eggs. Location a bit far from the Grand Palace area but bus service is available at regular intervals to take you almost any where needed.

Excellent hotel in quiet area - i imagine it would be much busier when the EU parliament are in session, but hotel seem well-placed to cope well. The weather when we went was exceptionally cold - the hotel was really warm and made us not want to leave! Very close to Luxembourg station, but we used the metro station (Trone) which was a 5-minute walk away. Restaurant on ground floor of hotel looked very nice, but the price of some things on the menu put us off. with so many nice restaurants in Brussels city centre, we didn't really feel the need to use it. Hotel was very nice, staff very friendly and helpful, room was cleaned every day, gym and sauna was great addition too, only bad thing i would say is, food and drink was quite expensive, but lots of other places near by, for that, would recommend highly though.
