酒店在巷子裡,有點難找。但房間內外充滿中國特色,很多外國人入住。鄰近南鑼鼓巷及地鐵站,交通尚算便利。

很喜欢这个四合院旅馆，住在那里的三天很开心。竹园宾馆坐落在很多低矮的建筑中间(想象瑞士海边的小木屋的感觉，但是是四合院的建筑风格)休息大厅距离酒店的入口最近，狭长的延伸在小石桥胡同里。我们住在听松楼二层，位于酒店小院靠里边的位置。离马路和停车区域都比较远，有旅游团的时候，早晚都会有停车区的车声，路过一个餐馆，面向小院就是我们的房间。房间里有免费无线网，但是信号很弱。只有坐在靠窗户的阳台或者房间的房门附近，还有卫生间附近才会比较强的信号。喜欢这里的宁静，放松，还有我们的房间的位置比较安静，也喜欢小院的假山园林，迷你竹林园，房间外面的松树等等。花园对面有个池塘，散发的味道不太好，如果池塘里的水不被彻底更换的话我不建议住在那附近的房间。我们入住期间那附近还有个按摩房间在装修，不过都是白天施工，晚上 […] 不会吵，早上散步的时候走过去能闻到涂料油漆的味道。旅馆距离鼓楼地铁站和安定门站大概需要步行10-15分钟，南锣鼓巷距离鼓楼站只有一站路。步行方向：1.酒店出口右转，沿着胡同一直走，走到主街会看见一个拱形门，用中文写着竹林园。主街对面有麦当劳，钟鼓楼，拱门右侧就是麦当劳。 阅读更多信息

Based in a huntong, this is a great place to experience real Beijing life, yet staying in a quiet oasis hidden in a back street. Lovely Chinese feel to the hotel. Breakfast is only 60 yen though there's a MacDonalds nearby when you want a change, and good nightlife steps away. Disappointing there is nowhere to sit in the evening. This is a local-feeling place. Clean, big rooms, lovely back courtyard. Not new by any means, but you can stay at the big Western hotels if you want that. The classic amenities are a throwback to the old China but kept fresh and clean here.

The Bamboo Garden is an oasis; despite the noise of subway construction on the main street, we could hear none of it in the hotel. In room internet was spotty at best, and the claim of tempurpedic mattresses is untrue. Classical Chinese courtyard hotel with an internal bamboo garden. Tranquil environment with traditional style rooms around the courtyard and modern rooms in hotel section. Chinese style furniture with ample storage space. No long bath. Shower ok: ample hot water but not powerful. Room had a big window opening onto a quiet street. In room electric kettle, safe, fridge (not very cold). Service: No complaints. Room tidied daily. Price: Moderate. Can accommodate 4 persons in 1 room. Food: Didn't eat at hotel. Many eating places nearby. 京城一锅 along Jiuguloudajie serves yummy lamb hotpot at dinner time (popular with locals) and v. cheap dumplings/wonton for breakfast. Convenience: <5 mins on foot to Line 2 Subway station. Direct bus to Forbidden City/Wangfujin, Temple of Heaven/Pearl Market. Nearby convenience store and McDonald's. Neighbourhood: Felt safe. 15 min stroll to Houhai and Qianhai (lovely day or night). Many lakeside restaurants. Kaorouji near Yindingqiao serves delicious lamb/beef hotplate and lamb kebabs. Nearby: Don't miss Yandaxie Str (pedestrian shopping str). Room Tip: Deluxe suites have traditional feel and plenty of room. Hotel rooms on upper floors overlooking the garden also nice but no lift. Really nice hotel in a traditional Courtyard arrangement. Have an authentic look and a nice garden. Rooms are small but nicely equipped, you even have PC in your room with the complimentary Internet access. Restaurant is on site, mostly Chinese cuisine. About 10 mins walk from the nearest subway station, taxis won’t enter the last 150m stretch of Hutong […] street but the arranged trip cars will. There is a small parking in the courtyard. A lovely simple courtyard hotel located about 10 min away from the Guloudajie subway station, close to the Drum tower and slightly north of Houhai lakes.There is not much traffic in that street so it makes it very difficult to find a taxi there. You can catch one though at the end of the street next to the MacDonald. Our room, 2nd floor over Courtyard, […] was roomy and clean (chinese style decoration), and the mattresses were very comfortable (that can be an issue in China). There was a computer in our room for us to use, but I chose to use mine (better if you are not familiar with Chinese Windows...). This was my second stay at the Bamboo Garden. As was the first, the stay was an outstanding experience. The property has a fascinating history, if you are interested in that sort of information. The location is very central to the Forbidden City, Drum Tower and Behai Park. There were lots of eating establishments nearby besides the restaurant in the […] hotel, and an convenience store and ATM were around the corner. The 60 CNY breakfast buffet (including made to order omelets and fresh fruits) was not to be passed up. The hotel provides a PC in each room and internet access in the room at no charge, This is great for catching up on communications with family and friends. The rooms are charming and comfortable. They are decorated in Chinese Ming style and have old antique phones, which do work! The bathrooms are Western-style with all the usual amenities. Its central location is great for touring the treasures of central Beijing. Our guides from The China Guide were able to easily pick us up and start our daily touring with no travel time into the heart of the city. I did not have much time to spend in the beautiful courtyard gardens. I can say that it is amazing how quite it is; you'd never know you were in the heart of the largest city in the world. Wonderful location within walking distance to Lake and shopping area. Quiet garden behind walls. Decorated in Chinese style. Nice resturant onsite but many others a short walk. Only complaint was could not figure how to turn down heat in November. Will use the hotel again and again.

A beautiful leafy courtyard venue off a traditional hutong. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from start to finish. The room was big and beautiful. Service attentive and staff considerate. Overall we felt it was a Chinese hotel in a classic courtyard setting modified to be comfortable to Western tastes. Our first impression of this hotel was not great: we arrived after dark on a day where air quality in Beijing was terrible. The hotel was hard to find, even with my Beijing-native husband communicating in Chinese with the driver. Then when we arrived the front desk clerk didn't even offer a word of welcome--in Chinese or English. But the place grew […] on us and we were glad we stayed there. The room was small, with a king sized bed. This was tight for 4 of us (2 adults, 2 young kids) but it worked. The heat did not adjust as well as we would have liked and it was much too hot and dry the first night, but then we realized the windows could be open to cool things off. The bathroom was modern and well-appointed. The hotel restaurant was fine: not great, not terrible. Daytime front desk staff speak good English and were quite helpful. The overall hotel complex, with courtyard and gardens, were very nice and probably would be more so in spring or summer. True, there's more cement than in a real courtyard house, but it's got a more traditional feel than a big chain hotel. Despite the initial difficulty finding the hotel (set back within a relatively modern hutong neighborhood), we came to appreciate its convenience. There's a conveneince store and a pharmacy at the entrance of the hutong on the left where you can get water, snacks, fruit and sundries at local prices. If you turn right at the entrance of the hutong, you walk down a main street with many other hutongs off to the side, as well as restaurants (Chinese, Vietnamese, other) and small shops within a 10 minute walk, and the old Drum Tower, and other sights within 15-20 minutes walk. This hotel is not for everyone, but if you are a bit adventurous and have good directions to the hotel, this can be an interesting place to stay. 阅读更多信息

20年ほど前から利用し始めて今回で6回目です。四合院に泊まるのが夫婦で気に入っています。昨年と今年は1月の三連休を使っての北京訪問。昨年は部屋をグレードアップしてくれたので嬉しかったのですが、今年も昨年と同じ部屋に入れ感激しました。ホテルから鼓楼や北海公園に徒歩ですぐです。フートンをぶらぶら歩くのが好きなので立地も便利です。ただタクシーは前の道が狭くて入れないということで呼んでくれません。けれど地下鉄の駅が近く、また8号線の駅ももうすぐできるようです。北京を地下鉄で動き回るのにさらに便利になりそうです。

Sehr schönes Hotel in chinesischem Stil, sehr gute Verkehrsanbindung (U-Bahn bzw. zu Fuss knappe Stunde zur verbotenen Stadt). Vermeintlich heruntergekommenes Viertel, in Wirklichkeit aber normale chinesische Innenstadt. Sehr viel schöner, als die Umgebung vermuten lässt. Gutes und preisgünstiges Hotelrestaurant.

Lorsque nous nous sommes présentés à l'accueil avec ma compagne, la première question qui nous a été posée a été : "êtes-vous mariés ?". A la réponse "non", l'on nous a demandé de dormir dans deux chambres séparées en nous expliquant que c'était la loi en Chine. Cet accueil exécrable s'est poursuivi ensuite. Jamais un sourire, encore moins un bonjour […] de la part des membres du personnel de l'hôtel. La chambre, pourtant une suite, n'était pas digne du confort attendu pour ce type d'établissement : traces d'humidité sur les murs, tapisserie qui se décolle, vue sur un mur en ouvrant la fenêtre, éclairage naturel insignifiant et donc obligation d'allumer toutes les lumières en permanence, etc. Seule l'excellente situation géographique de l'hôtel nous a donné satisfaction. Old villa in historic hutong. Recently modernized with perfect rooms. Rooms are not big, but everything is in its right place. Gulou Dajie and Nanluogu Xiang and Huhei lake are all within walking distance. Plus perfect for cycling around historic Beijing. まずタクシーの運転手にホテルの場所を説明するのが大変でした。有名かと思いきや名前を言ってもわかる運転手さんはいませんでした。中国語で説明するのがめんどくさくて！地下鉄は近いのでいいんですが。 到着した日からパソコンとエアコンと金庫の調子がわるく、出かけている間に治しとくよといったものの、パソコンは帰ってきてもまだおかしくて。 フロントに電話をすると今からいきますといって、その日はそのまま誰もきませんでした。 次の日昨日、今からいくといったのでは？といったメモを残しておきましたが、それにはまったく触れられず。パソコンはさすがに治ってましたが、なんだかなああああという気持ちになりました。
