The room was adequate with exactly what was needed. There were DVDs and cable available as well. In the summer this would be an ideal place to stay since it is right in town but off an alley so it would be quieter. There was coffee in the morning and no breakfast since it was winter. This was a last minute find for us and we were very pleased. It should be noted that this is a guest house, not a hotel, so you can expect to share a (clean and close-to-room) bathroom, but rooms are private and comfortable with sink, TV, and mini fridge. Friendly hotel-manager, room was very small, also hotel itself, I hardly couldn't find it. Prize too high for a room without private bathroom. Complimentary bike for the whole stay, which was appreciated. You don't have to be gay to stay at this house, but it helps. Moffett House Inn 的回复 You selected and booked a room for one person – a “single” type room – this room is our least expensive, smallest type room in the house. Our rooms vary a fair amount. We have rooms with private bathrooms, rooms with shared bathrooms and rooms that will accommodate up to 3 people. Most of our rooms that don’t have their own bathroom in them do have a sink in the room. There are photos of all of our rooms with room detail on our website in the rooms and rates section. I guarantee you received the lowest rate for a room for your travel date in the center of town.

This beautiful old New England home is right in the center of town and close to all the action in Provincetown. Yet, you'll feel tucked away in a quiet corner when you want to rest up for more fun. "First time visitor to Ptown."
I was pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a guest house. Within minutes of booking through this site I was called by the owner Russ to welcome me and offer directions to the place (it is tucked away down a laneway just behind the main street making it quiet but more than close enough to the action). Upon my arrival I was welcomed by the Assistant […] Innkeeper Todd who I found in the kitchen baking. Moffett House is the friendliest and most relaxed and welcoming of places I have ever stayed in. They even supplied free bikes to the guests to explore the town. I used the opportunity to ride out to Beech Forest, where the beach and sand dunes meet the forest. Moffett House Inn is a small, very-well run B&B right in the center of Provincetown, convenient to MacMillan Pier and the many local shops, galleries and restaurants. The staff is welcoming and helpful. Coffee and orange juice are served in the morning. The Inn itself is an old Provincetown house from the 1800's that has been renovated with period details […] such as beautiful old wood beams. Perfect for couples or a single traveler. The rooms are small but nice, each with mini-fridges, and the upstairs rooms have skylights. The stairway to the second floor is steep but has very solid wood handrails. We had a fine little room. But I think this place was more like a bed and breakfast. It was small overall but we had everything we needed. Nice little extras around for ones convenience. "Cheap"
The hotel is very centrally located yet very quiet. Our room had a shared bath which explains the cheap price. The owners are very kind and accomodating, they made sure our stay would be perfect. The room was very very tiny, however.Hotels.com 真实住客点评

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Moffett House. We took the ferry and walked over, (with luggage -- we came from the west coast so we had large pieces too), so we had no need to rent a car. It's within walking distance of everything. This place was definitely a great value. No bathroom in room but there was a sink with a mirror so bathroom was usually empty. Bed was extremely comfortable and room was cozy. Very attentive and friendly service from reservation to check-out. Used the complimentary bikes for a jaunt around the P-Town dunes. Location can't be beat and the value for the price is wonderful. "Strange experience"
First, I have to stay that it was quite a decent place to spend the night in - nothing was horribly wrong and other people may have different experiences. That said, the experience was strange. It was kind of like crashing at the house of someone you barely know and who's not even there. After I booked the room, I got a call from the owner asking when […] I was planning to arrive. The owner then told me the room number and where to find the key. He also offered me a parking space for extra charge, which I declined. I was able to find a street parking spot a couple of blocks from the house, but I suspect it's harder during vacation season. I arrived, found the keys, spent the night and left, all without seeing anyone working there. I met a few of other residents, who were very nice and told me where to find the internet password, the dishes in the kitchen, etc. The room itself was quite clean, although not very comfortable. The furniture was old, and the refrigerator was really loud. It really felt more like a guest bedroom in a house of college students than a hotel. In the end, this B&B was not a bad place to spend a night in, but it did not measure up to other hotels I stayed in on the trip for similar prices. 阅读更多信息Hotels.com 真实住客点评
Moffett House Inn 的回复 We always inform our guests of our late night check-in policy when they are arriving during evening hours. Our policy for week night mid-season check-ins is as follows: Check ins after 11pm are self check-in as our office on week nights in mid May closes at 10pm. We are a 10 room Inn and this is standard procedure mid-season in Provincetown for a week night stay. All of our guests receive a detailed confirmation including directions within 24 hours of when a reservation is made. To clarify most of the furniture in room #8 is less than one year old and is in excellent condition. There are photos with room detail of all of our rooms in the ROOMS & RATES section of our website.

Moffet House ligt ingebouwd tussen andere huisjes in het centrum van Provincetown. In de zomer waarschijnlijk zeer druk, in de herfst heel leuk. Maar de kamer met eigen badkamer was piepklein, het tweepersoonsbed was bedoeld voor hele kleine mensen en de vloer was helaas niet schoon. De badkamer wel trouwens. Maar erg klein allemaal. Moffett House Inn 的回复 To be honest I find it to be unfair that we received a low rating from you because you did not understand the difference between a double size bed and a queen size bed, and therefore you booked the wrong kind of room for your needs. Our rooms vary a fair amount – some rooms have double size beds, some rooms have queen size beds and some of our rooms have 2 beds in them. There are photos including room detail of all of our rooms on our website in the rooms & rates section. The room that you stayed in has the original wood plank floors from 1860. I guarantee you the floor was very clean upon your arrival. However, the coloration and uneven depth of the flooring can be misleading.
