Exc Excellent experience at Captains Quarters. Very clean, friendly staff and a beautiful room. Conveniently close to restaurants and entertainment. We were right above the pool and with the door closed, it was surprisingly quiet for sleeping. Great vacation accommodations!

It was a decent stay for last minute trip. A lot of construction so very confusing on where to go. Parking was full quickly. Although there is an option for “overflow” parking, I’d rather my car be closer. Lots of pools to choose from. Definitely kid friendly.

If you are handicap as my husband and I are, this hotel is not handicap accessible. There are no ramps or elevators in the garage leading to designated floors. When we made reservations we were not informed of this, and that the hotel was under renovation. When we arrived we learned that there was no lobby or restaurant open. Reservations and the restaurant were in another building entirely.

This is a very nice clean hotel with a lot to do An right in the middle to a lot of things to do! Only problem We had was when we first checked in. The room service ppls just bust up in our room without knocking or anything! Jus said they were sorry this says a vacancy room! So why U came in like that! But we had no other problem after that!

The check in process was horrible. Waited in line for an hour at the bar next door due to construction at the hotel. Then was given a key to a room that was already in use and was not ocean front like I paid for. I had to return to the front desk after talking to the manager Bradley! He was very helpful and made sure I was given ocean front and the correct room. He did accompany me to the new room to make sure everything was corrected. Bradley made my stay better.

The hotel is going through renovations so check in was a little tricky and hectic! Managing the parking garage was tight. Overall, a decent hotel for the price, walk ability is okay but we drove to most dining areas we planned to go too. We enjoyed being able to walk right out on the beach and having access to multiple outdoor pools and indoor pools and while there are quite a few hot tubs(not all in operating order)and some had entirely too many unsupervised children in them! We were right by the steps on the fourth floor and by 11pm it was quiet...found out from a guest that walked right into our room that our door needed to be slammed shut, guessing from the moisture it had not shut completely, but no more problems after that mishap! Our room was clean, bed and pillows comfy and water pressure was decent. Suggestions and complaints: There was no full length mirror in the room anywhere and no plugs or charging ports near the beds, both which are deal breakers for booking a second stay here.

The pool was nice. The property is being remodeled so check-in was across the street and accessing the building was somewhat complicated. There is 24 hour security in the parking garage which was nice. We had a decent view of the ocean. We were told our room would be cleaned on day 2 of our 4 day stay, but that didn't happen. The beds and pillows were mediocre at best. We went and got additional coffee from the makeshift lobby. Overall, it was ok, but I would wait until it is completed prior to staying there again.
