"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mai Khao Beach"
Despite booking the wrong hotel (thought it was the Marriott Mai Khao Beach - on the beach!!) we still enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The 2 bedroom suite, with own dip pool was perfect for our family and it was close to the supermarket and a few local shops and only a 5 minute walk to the beach - or a short courtesy buggy ride away. The accommodation […] was of a very high standard, with a lovely master bath and large beds with comfy pillows and cushions - very home from home although the kitchen could have been better equipped. There were only 2 choices of restaurant but for our short stay it was fine, the food was good in both with freshly baked goods available throughout the day however if you were there for a longer stay you may need to look elsewhere for a more varied menu. Our children enjoyed the kids club although I thought it was rather limited in the activities it offered - fine if your child wants to watch TV all day! The villa was fantastic. A home away from home. The kids club was good. Although the activities listed for one hour did not take an hour. I think they could have scheduled a bit more activities.
