For a budget hotel, it was very good. The room was quite small and a little dated but everything worked fine. The double bed was quite narrow but it was ok. It was nice to find that a buffet breakfast and a nice cooked breakfast was provided, incuded in the room price. The staff were very pleasant .Ok there are better hotels available but for the money I paid and the central location I was very happy and I would happily stay again.

This was my second stay at St Simeon and I don't think it had changed anything in 7 years. It was clean and neat but plenty of towels and soaps. The bedding needs upgrading with old quilts being used under the basic spread. The breakfast was ok. I would have liked a kettle in the room at least. The staff were very nice and helpful. It was convenient to the tube and restaurants and in an quiet area.

Having stayed at this hotel several times before, it was nice to return for a brief stay for business purposes; also handy for London’s various attractions such as Piccadilly, Leicester Square; The 007 Experience, Chelsea Physic Gardens & the Peace Pagoda at Wandsworth.

Highly recommended

The location is just few blocks away from metro. I must say good location as it’s close to majority tourists spots. The family running the hotel is very warm and always greets you with good smile and good breakfast. Highly recommended to stay here.

Friendly and compact

Our room was compact, but then all we planned on doing was sleeping there. Basic needs taken care of in the room, facilities satisfactory. Staff were all very friendly, can not fault any of them. The cooked breakfast was fine, good selection of fruit, pastries and drinks all served very efficiently. Good value for money given the area we were in.
