This hotel is in a very lively part of Munich near the Hofbrauhaus, Opera Theater, Englischer Gardens, and within walking distance of the art museums, Resident, and more. Metro is easy to navigate, hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very good. The room was small, but cozy with a very comfortable bed. I put a Do Not Disturb sign on my door the first day, but the staff still came in and cleaned my room.

We had a quick trip to Munich. It was a quick walk to everything traditionally considered a must see. It was safe, quiet, and clean. Very small and you must lock the door going out and once your in. The breakfast was great. It was strange that the hotel closed at 11am the day we left for a 4 day holiday. They couldn't hold our bags. Also, if you are trying to call, forget about it. No one answers, I was on hold for 20 minutes 2 times, no one ever answered and it costs me $1.50 a minute on my US cell. I asked why no one answers and they said the staff leaves in the evening (and apparently doesn't answer the phone during the day either). Well then, turn off the holding message! Your best bet is to email. Also, to the staff, don't claim it is open 24 hours, it isn't. They give you a key to the hotel, but no one is there if you need something.

This is a small hotel with a very small staff. We arrived late so the outside door was locked, but there was a personal note on the door addressed to us by name telling us the procedure to access the room key. The room was tiny, but the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very nice, though the breakfast room is tight. The biggest asset of this hotel is the location. It's right across the street from the Residenz and just a couple blocks from Marienplatz. Easy walking to all the sightseeing locations.
