We used the hotel to stay over after visiting the Prashad indian which is only 2 miles away, the hotel seemed quite busy,The room was very small for a double room and for £103.00 and £97.00 for a twin room I have got to say was far too much money for bed and breakfast .The breakfast was good and hot,but the hotel itself was all corridors and dated. "Near Oakwell Hall (wedding venue)"
We stayed here because we were attending a wedding at the nearby Oakwell Hall. The hotel was ok, nothing special but not terrible. We had a couple of lunchtime bar meals which were a decent size and quickly served. The rooms weren't brilliantly ventilated and rather stuffy, with dim lighting. The corridors were the same. We couldn't get the TV to work […] but it wasn't really a problem given our short stay/reason for staying. We thought the bed was surprisingly small, as did several of our friends who also had rooms there; it was comfortable enough though.
