房間設計很特別，一進門有驚豔的感覺，只是房間浴室和客廳中間沒有遮蔽，對於兩位女生一起住的我們，有點小尷尬。

服務態度佳，地理位置較不方便，市中心但離地鐵站遠。房間擺設不舒服，家具風格....沒有風格，空曠乏味的令人住起來不舒服。清潔度，不優，上一個房客使用過的衛生用品散落在床邊，洗澡腳踏墊像是陳年老物，感覺不乾不淨，下次不會再住了。

The hotel is very nicely decorated but doesn’t match 5 star standards. Receptionists speak fluent English and are very nice. But breakfast is very basic, just eggs and toast, and it is open only from 7:30 to 9:30 AM. The restaurant staff is really unfriendly. 我看宾馆廊间看了窗景，看起来不像是hotels.com刊登的那样子，也不象旅行顾问说的和图片看起来那样的棒，所以决定试一试！我并不失望！房间和网站的照片完全一样。这个地方很好，干净，唯一的不足是有没有足够的热水浴缸。很可惜的是浴缸是主要的卖点！但是，我想我能修好它，只是因为我只是住一个晚上，所以我不想找麻烦。工作人员都很好，爱法租界，只许走两步，也许10分钟就能步行到地铁站，但仍不够好！肯定会再尝试这里的浴缸！

饭店房间真的满大的 但是东西相对来说不够多 因此会觉得有点空 有免费的早餐可以使用 就在旁边的联艺凯文咖啡 稍微简单了点但是可以吃饱 饭店用老房子改建而成 内部有设计感 床也好睡 大致算是舒服 要说缺点的话就是离地铁点远 还有收费略高 可以再降个100rm左右比较好

Spent 6 nights there and I really liked it, great rooms, great location, staff were fantastic, they always made you feel welcome, called you by your name (that only happens in executive lounges) and went out of their way to help, in fact they walked with me to China Unicom shop and help translate the issues I was having, it was over 1km away, That’s […] service. The chef at breakfast time was really good, first time in china I actually got a great over easy egg, buffet is perfect for a 32 Room hotel. This hotel is for travellers that like more of a home away from home feel, if you want the grand lobby with all the bells & whistles, having the door opened for you, then this is not your place, but if you like comfort, and a friendly atmosphere, then you will like it. Nice place by xuijiahui park, other facilities are limited. Recommend to stay if you want an experience staying in the French concession area. There are places with better facilities for the price.

Room was in excellent condition. Much bigger than normal hotel rooms. Very comfortable bed and bedding. I checked in there late, the suite is interesting, not really fancy. If you tried to experience old shanghai, it could be a good idea. But it is just fine to stay once and get some experience. Breakfast is poor, not so good.

The room is very large and comfort, and it is very quiet although outside the hotel is a busy road. Near to the hotel is a park. It is very convenient to take MTR in Hang Shan Station.

Bad hotel and unfriendly staff. Please never try this lousy hotel. It is definatly not a boutique hotel, just an ordinary Motel 168 but cost you more.

great location, great beds and the rooms are good generally but the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. the breakfast was terrible.... id probably go back though, just ignore the staff and not have breakfast because the rest was pretty good

Very cosy, comfortable home hotel. You can feel yourself far from the bustle in a big city. Location also very good, so near to the center. Only one thing is not the best - poor brekfast.

The room is big and the room decoration is nice. Good location. Only 5 mins walk from Heng Shan Road MTR station. Will stay in this hotel again. However, the front desk staffs are not that friendly. No smile n feedback when we greeted with them.

awesome hotel, excellent by all standards apart from in room TV, they have had a sign in reception since September this year (my last stay was in December) apologising about their TV service - all you get, if you only speak English, is NHK (Japenses TV) in black and white - it drives you insane - if they had HBO and the CCTV English Channel and BBC […] World Service I would rate it, regardless of rate, as the best hotel in Shanghai, have been going there for 3 years (shanghai) and if the TV worked I would rave about it. Booked what looked liked a really quirky boutique style hotel ala 1920's Shanghai style. Design is good. No visible signs of a hotel feel. Rooms are a throw back to the old days, but given that the winters in Shanghai can be bloody cold, the heating system is not upto getting the rooms fully warm. Worst is the bathrooms are well designed but cold as […] the Antarctic. There are no forms of heating in the bathroom, its just plain freezing. Anyhow, there are alot of improvements that could be made in the rooms to make it more comfortable and warm for the winter. Will i stay again? I doubt it. Shanghai has many hotels at cheaper prices without paying for decor but still comfortable. Asset Hotel Wanping Lu, is great. Under staffed, front slammed phone on me 5 Times reason not enough staff. Did not have rooms for me when I checked in inspire full settlement to hotel.com a week ago, check in took 1 hour, eventually gave me a room 2nd level that was not made up. Note they never vacuum mats hence left overs spotted. Also sheet are not changed daily. Quickest room service […] on earth. Lower floor room walls n sofa set looks stained. If it wasn't for the surly service of the restaurant staff and the fact that my wife had money taken from our room then I would be happy to recommend the hotel to people visiting Shanghai. As it is, I will not be booking in there again despite the comfortable rooms and good location.

Loved the style and location of the hotel - would go back there again. The breakfast (which is actually at the cafe next door) was OK... you don't have variety (eggs and ham/bacon and toast), but if that is the only thing to not come up to expectations - then I'm OK with that!.

Wonderful boutique hotel. Large rooms... CLEAN. Easy access to the subway. Only negative was the breakfast (served at a cafe attached to the hotel). ...first 2 days were great... third day the waitress's friends came and began smoking during our meal. ...they stopped when I asked them to stop... and began smoking again near the end of our breakfast. […] ...It's a personal preference, but I prefer to not have smoke while I am eating. The Gallery Suites Hotel was a hidden gem.. it's facade is a 1920s heritage building. It's a charming value-for-money boutique hotel. The biggest plus are the rooms - they are massive. Bed is comfortable. Bathroom is clean and spacious too, with necessary amenities provided. There's also free wifi which is a big plus. Cons are lack of catering service […] - the breakfast cafe doesn't belong to them... couldn't even get chopsticks for my takeaway! No pool or gym either and the concierge service is extremely minimal. Walls are rather thin too, i could hear next door guests walking around with their shoes on. The hotel is in the French Concession area and a short taxi ride away from the main streets where you can find some of Shanghai's coolest bars and restaurants. 1/17/2011, was so cold in Shanghai, there's no hot water, the water is even dirty with yellow color. We contacted the service desk many times and no solution. Limited people on duty. Hot water comes out next morning, however, the experience is terrible.

The room’s décor was nice and is presented well in pictures online but the furniture is not of commercial quality, they were very light, wiggle and not strong all, the pipes in the room makes extremely loud noise by itself untouched is this very old building. The room was very dusty and I felted that air condition filter or luck of was never changed […] nor was it right size for the unit because the gaps around it. In addition, the television had to be adjusted in a different room every single because the sound and the pictures for international cable channels were not linked together, I witness mouth moving without sound. The breakfast food and yogurt were not kept at proper temperatures and breakfast was not at even china’s own 3 stars hotel standards. It's a good hotel but quite far away from the MTR stations. If you want to have night activities, ie, club, bar, it will be good choice. If you would like to have shopping easier, it may not be a good choice.

這是我第二次住宿經驗，相比第一次住宿經驗，這一次整體有滿意。飯店的地理位置不用說，徐家匯公園旁，地鐵站走路5分鐘內能到，又位於街道充滿文化氣息的衡山路。可惜的是飯店房間的保養維護。第一天住308，因為晚上下雨，早上起來看見床頭上方有漏水的水痕，房間的沙發有點髒；第二天要求換房，本來告之603，後來換房前通知603也有問題，換到601房間也不錯，浴袍有破洞，提供的浴巾有點舊，往浴室方向地板有一塊凹陷，表面看不出來，走過去就會陷下去。服務人員的質量比上次的經驗有提升，所以整體對我來說瑕不掩瑜。

Staff at the frontdesk is nice and helpful as they let me check-in in the early morning, much earlier than my scheduled time. Location not bad, hotel situated in the center of 5 metro stations of Line 1, 9, and 10. Just 10-15 mins walk distance from any of them. […] Also 15 mins walk from Xujiahui commercial and entertainment center with different shopping arcade, cinemas, and many dinning places. A 3 mins walk from hotel can also reaches the Xujiahui Park where you can have a refreshment there. Consulate of the United States is situated in 15 mins walk from the hotel. Surround environment is Okay, although the hotel is situated next to a road, but sound isolation acceptable. The room is nice and big, they're trying some fragrance in the room, the smell is good. Bed is excellent. Breakfast is also not bad, they've made some improvements according to the manager. Quite a number of good shops - accessories & boutiques - in the area.
