The room was fine, we were in an attic room when had very little head room. Unfortunately we only had a bath, which wasn’t much use. We tried to check in a little earlier as we were off to a wedding, we were not even allowed to pick up the keys 30 mins before check in, I think the staff could have been more understanding of our situation and been flexible, we didn’t even want to visit the rooms.

Lovely area to stay, the rooms require a little TLC but I really want complain all that much about that when the rooms are a lovely size, the water is warm and the beds comfortable. All the staff were lovely and welcoming. When the say the hotel and restaurant are dog friendly they fully mean it, everyone treated our dog like she was the star of the show, providing eater bowls and treats in the restaurant. Will be back again.

Really friendly staff. Very clean room - I stayed in the single , perfect for solo travellers. Excellent location for sightseeing Banbury and good access to the train station - a fifteen minutes walk. Tasty breakfast and friendly service. Highly recommended.
