We enjoyed our overnight stay at the weathervane. It was very good value for the money it cost. We had the breakfast included option and we're glad we did. The staff were very helpful indeed. We decided to have our evening meal there as well. We both really enjoyed the food which was cooked perfectly and the prices were very much cheaper than we pay in Essex.

Clean enough room but poorly maintained accommodation, furniture in room nothing short of a disgrace, paintwork scruffy. Breakfast not the best but sufficed for one night for work. Will not return or recommend. Disappointing.

Really handy for a stay ahead of a trip to Alton Towers. Ideally located just off of main road. Very close to Tesco etc although weather was so awful it was hard to tell. Staff all very friendly especially in pub. Absolutely fine for a nights stay
