The hotel is a well-maintained motel, but the surrounding neighborhood is a little dodgey. I stayed here for 2 nights & the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was big & spacious. There is a nearby train station and some food shops about 10-15mins walk away. The hotel provides facility in the form of cutleries, plates, microwave & toaster in the common area. Bathroom wasn't clean, bed was EXTREMELY uncomfortable. If you want to stay close to the city and don't care about where you stay this motel will be ideal. Staff however were very pleasant. Very Disappointing!

The hotel reception in not manned from 11 PM to 7 AM so they do not offer wake up calls, etc. The room was not all that clean so I think the hotel was rated a little higher than reality.

My wife and I enjoyed our one weeks stay at the garden Lodge. We drove to Sydney and chose this motel because of its location, reasonable price, plus off street car parking. It is adjacent to busy Parramatta Road, but it was not difficult to traverse the streets to access the motel. The Motel has a internal atrium were you can sit and read the paper or have breakfast at an additional charge. It's quite unique for a motel and makes the building feel quite big and open. If you need to wash clothes the facilities were quite good and free. Rooms were serviced daily and toiletries were mostly replenished.You can access the public transport easily the bus a short walk the train a couple of blocks away.We did experience good restaurants a couple of blocks away at Summer Hill which was a safe walk at night. We spent one night at this establishment on arrival in Australia and found it to be overpriced for what it was. The 'balconey view' was quite laughable..a concrete space that provided barely room for oner person to stand as air-conditioning unit occupied most of it and the 'view' was overlooking the car park and the 711 next door. If you don,t have a car and have to rely on cabs, it would be too costly to make too many trips to sights in downtown Sydney. the breakfast deal was not what is offered, needs serious attention before being offered to stayers, eg: no coffee cups, just stale white bread for toasting, meager amounts of condiments, not very clean to look at.

Needed an affordable but comfortable overnight stay for a wedding nearby. The outside of the building is old but the rooms are renovated so we were pleasantly surprised. Despite being on a busy road, there was no noise disturbance. Great value for money. Would stay there again.

The rooms have been renovated and are quite reasonable.The shared living area in the centre of the motel is handy as there is access to a microwave and plates/cutlery and also gives you more space if you get tired of being in your room. Parking and location are convenient.

When looking for a Sydney "airport hotel" this place popped up, and was reasonably priced. Not knowing anything about Sydney, and trusting that an AIRPORT HOTEL, was close to the airport, I booked a room for the night. WELL, this place is not close to the airport at all. The cab driver had to use his GPS to even find the place. It was a 50.00 cab ride […] and a 40 minute trip. The only thing that made it close to the airport was the fact that it was in the flight pattern, and we listened to airplanes all night! Hotel had a great location, just a few miles outside of downtown Sydney on main road and close to bus stops. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Had our own b-fast with but able to use their bowls and silverware as we needed, which was nice, without buying continental b-fast.

It does what is says on the package with one slight exception and one major exception. It's not really convenient to the airport. The railway station is a bit of hike with bags and then it's a change at Central and a direct line in. Mine was an early morning flight and so this wasn't a problem but at peak times with bags it would be a hassle. Also, […] too far for a taxi (queus are horrendous in Sydney) . A hotel/back packers close to the Central station or on the airport line would make sense. Biggest beef was that unlike the Hotels.com website the hotel definitely does not have fitness facilities, if by fitness facilities one means even a small gym with one rowing machine, some free weights and bench press. If you are only staying one night, I would recommend that you spend the cab fare on a hotel closer to the airport that has a shuttle. The cab fare is expensive enough to warrant this. The hotel is a decent and clean 3 star and fairly close to a train station, so if you are staying awhile it would be good option for a budget traveller.

I enjoyed my one night stay very much; the staff were cooperative, the room was neat and comfortable, and the internet connection was very good. A minor discomfort was the short corridor to the room and the room itself were filled with tobacco smell though the room I stayed in (and those in the vicinity) were non smoking ones.

This hotel was pretty good value and has the potential to be excellent value. On this site it listed it had kitchenette facilities, but it didn't. We negotiated to have a toaster/crumpet cooker (not to be called a toaster due to insurance reasons) in our room and we were able to use facilities in their breakfast area. Only a towel each was provided […] which is not enough. And more floor mats need to be supplied too as the shower water gets everywhere. I'm not complaining about the shower though, it was wonderful. The first of our four day stay not only was our linen not changed but the sheets just pulled up over a damp towel! Rather than make a scene I just stripped the bed everyday and left it all in a heap with the towels. The second day I discovered a used tissue (not by us) just under the bed, that was a bit ewwww. We found a sensational area not far from the hotel for italian restaurants, and Summer HIll train station an easy walk. The suburbs either side of parramatta road were delightful and well worth an explore. Parramatta road is very busy though, but the noise wasn't a problem in our room. 阅读更多信息

It's situated at 9 km from international airport (75$ for a taxi), in an industrial area, no restaurant, no bank, quite isolated from any service.
