Peace and tranquility accurately describe this beautiful hotel. It's location and surroundings are spectacular. The views are breathtaking. Friendly staff, good food and the ultimate relaxation location. If you're into walking then the cliff top walks are a must. Can't wait to return to this "hidden gem"

What an amazing view of the bay, leading out the Iris Sea. Small local marina is a foot of hotel, overlooking a striking lighthouse so close you can touch it. Hotel is impecably clean, staff is helpful and courteous. To reach hotel you must take a maze of narrow, secondary roads to the coast but well worth the effort.

I loved the view from our top floor room- stunning vista of Ballycotton Bay. The fishing village and surrounding cliffs are magnificent . I wish we'd planned a longer stay here. I could just gaze out the window all day. The outdoor seating area is splendid for a drink in the early evening. Bartender introduced me to Murphy's, which I loved. Food in […] the restaurant excellent, except the creme brulee, which was a cookie with a bit of creme inside. Staff helpful in letting me use their computer. We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at this wonderful hotel. The situation is superb especially after the very obliging staff changed our booking to a room with french doors that looked out to the sea rather than one we had originally booked with dormer windows which afforded limited views. Bayview hotel was very good value and we really enjoyed our one night stay.Cliff walk was beautiful and very accesible from hotel.Hotel receptionist was very helpful and friendly.We will hopefully return for a longer stay.
