Excellent staff and service and a great location. Although I wasn't expecting a pure vegetarian restaurant the food was excellent. It's a long way off 5 star quality but with a 5 star price tag and you can get similar standard hotels in the general area for half the price but I doubt that other hotels would be able to compete with the service and the […] welcoming attitude of the staff. The price includes an evening boat ride, morning yoga classes, WiFi and breakfast which goes some way towards the excessive cost of the hotel. The location of this hotel is right on The Ganges, but beware. It is not possible to take transport right to the hotel, so travellers with reduced mobility should be aware of this. The accomodations were as advertised, an oasis in a very chaotic city. Strongly suggest arranging a guide to deliver you ALL the way to the hotel, as it would be extremely difficult to find it yourself on foot. (Cars can't reach it.) 100 pounds a night in India is a lot of money and one expects a high quality hotel for this price. The complimentary breakfast was shameful.My room was supposed to have adjacent balcony with river view, not so. There was no active telephone no. working on reception. LIke the other reviewers said, this place is a Oasis from the the bustle and mess that is Varanasi. We only stayed one night and were able to take both and evening and morning boat ride on the river along with a city tour with ease. The staff was lovely and the restaurant, though spartan was pleasant with good food.

The hotel was truly an oasis in an otherwise unbelievably chaotic city. Unless I missed it somewhere, what isn't disclosed is that the hotel is only reachable by foot or bicycle rickshaw. スタッフの方が本当に丁寧で親切でした。 場所がらグレードの高い設備は望めばいと思いましたが、クーラーもありますし、水周りもきちんとしていました。 ただあまりにも暑い時期に行ってしまったため、クーラーをつけても暑くて寝付けませんでした。。。 また、宿泊者向けに無料で夕方ボートを出してくれて、良い思い出になりました。ガンガー沿いでなければ他にも良いホテルはありなますが、夜出かけたり、朝日を見たりするにはやっぱりガンガー沿いがベストです。そういった意味ではお勧めです。 レストランもとても美味しかったです。
