"Convenient location but weird room"
Hotels.com 住客于 2013年02月19日做过点评It is the first hotel that I stayed in London. The location is quite good from Paddington Station. If you are taking the Heathrow Express or Connect to London, the fist stop has to be Paddington Station. It is more convenient after a long flight. But it is a bit difficult when you are in the Station for the first time. It has to be the exit next to the canal otherwise, you will go around about 30min at least to find the hotel. Take the canal exit and just walk about 8-10min you will find it among several new commerical and office highrise. Basically it is a business hotel. The checkin is rapid and service is good. But room looks a bit weird. The faciily in the bathroom is definitely designed for the diabled people. But the problem lies with the shower. It has no basin to prevent the water running around. After a single shower it will make the bathroom full of water flowing and you can't do anything about it. And it is not right that we have not been informed before checkin.

"Country Retreat"
We were very impressed with Richard the Landlord ,who went out of his way to type the route for us to drive to a function we were attending a few miles away. "Very disappointed with the stay"
I booked this hotel based on the previous comments by other stayers and I have to say it was not what we expected. Despite booking and being called to ask about a band playing we arrived and the staff did not appear to be expecting us. There was a disagreement with a staff member and the owner as it appeared our room was allocated to someone else. We […] got a room which was cold whilst the bed was very uncomfortable. There was a band on - we knew about this - but the noise from the bar afterwards was too much and we didn't get much sleep. "quiet and yet convenient"
I only stayed the one night but it was very good,pity I did not stay on the comedy nights,usually the last Thursday in the month.Room very clean,full English breakfast excellent, choice of good real ale,quiet village location but pleasant, easily found using the sat nav-no silly tracks or narrow lanes etc. given the chance I will book there againHotels.com 真实住客点评
