Super comfortable and easy!

We stay for just one night, but it was a big night (my parents 50th) and had much organising to do, despite running late (all that prep for a big party!) Joanne was accommodating and kind and waited for our later arrival. When we got there, everything was so easy and clean and comfortable - making the rest of our stay so much calmer and fun. We could just simply relax and enjoy our weekend. We will likely return, but this time with our dog - as the hotel is dog-friendly and Paignton has a brilliant 'dog beach'!

Pretty Paignton b and b

Lovely room, exactly as pictured, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Wifi a bit slow, but really no problem. We didn’t stay for breakfast but other guests said it was lovely. Handy for beach, pubs and restaurants. Only problem is parking, no parking outside property so parked 5 mins away.

A bright and freshly painted room on a quiet street. It had a comfortable bed and was sparkling clean. A good sized breakfast in the morning. The guest house is tucked away down a side street but only moments from the seashore.

Tæt på stranden ved Torbay

Utroligt sødt værtspar, der bød os velkomne og hjalp med parkeringsplads. Fin beliggenhed tæt på stranden. Morgenmad blev tilberedt efter individuelle ønsker. Fik god hjælp, da vi fik problemer med bilen. Værten ringede rundt og fandt et værksted til os. Værelset var småt, men meget rent og indbydende. Kan anbefales.

Very nice guest house close to all facilities

We enjoyed a long weekend, the weather was perfect and Tony and Joanne made us very welcome ! We particularly enjoyed Tony's jokes! The breakfast was really good too.

Fantastic hosts

I have stayed in my fair share of B+B's but nothing comes close to Trentham guest house. The first thing you will notice upon arrival is how friendly and welcoming your hosts are. Tyron and Joanne are perhaps the most welcoming couple I've ever had the pleasure of meeting, they always stop for a chat and make you feel like you're still in the comfort of your own home. The room is exceptional for only £28 a night, the place is literally spotless and full of good facilities. The breakfast is also superb, they have a brilliant routine where you can pick exactly what you want and have the breakfast out to you literally within 5 minutes of coming downstairs. I have never seen such efficiency before. If you're looking for a cheap yet memorable getaway, I can't recommend this place enough.

Good, clean basic bed and breakfast

We wanted a reasonably priced, basic bed and breakfast within driving distance of Dartmouth. Our room was very clean and with a comfortable bed. En suite shower room again was clean and the shower very efficient. The owners were more than helpful, going out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was good.

Friendly, clean and welcoming with excellent breakfasts. Tyron and Jo add little welcome touches which are rarely seen at other similar Guest Houses. E.g. Bottled water in each room.
