The owner was friendly. It was cute. A little older looking. The bed was a bit hard. It was clean. I think the price was a little stiff. Over all it was OK.

If you want fancy beachfront or village accommodations and the price that goes with it, Carlton Circle is not the place for you. It's an older style motel that's a little tired. But the room was clean, the front desk staff was helpful, location was reasonably convenient and the price was unbeatable. I would stay here again.

For the money, you can't beat the place. It's not a Marriott or anything like that but our room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the location was perfect for us. We would not hesitate to stay here again. In fact we plan to again.

Nice owner but the rooms are in need of upgrade. Busted light switches, busted cable & TV, drafty, but clean rooms. No wifi, kind of off the beaten path.

the only gripe I have is it they need to steam clean the carpets ocasionally , other than that it was a great stay for a last minute option and staff was very helpful

This is a place for the traveler who might be getting the Ferry at Falmouth the next morning. It was clean enough, but really only good for one night. Eddie, who stayed up for our late arrival was great. He gave a great recommendation for breakfast in the morning and gave us tips for getting to the Ferry on time.

I honestly had my doubts about this place when I booked since I paid so little for the room, but hoping for the worst, I checked in. The room was small but fine for my one night stay. All necessities were available. Bed was very comfortable. A/C in working order. Micro and fridge available if needed. It was clean.

The room was small -lacked place to hang any clothing -however it was comfortable and very quiet. Only stayed the one night and it was just 2 miles from the event attended. The price was most affordable and was perfect for me for just the one night and distance. Would stay again should I return to the Cape.

The hotel is very old and outdated. The room is very small, there are no table or even a chair. Wa had two double beds, all linens had holes and dirty spots. We are defenetly not recomended this palce. .

I think this motel is in need of a major makeover...toilet in the room ran every half hour all night long curtains need to be darker to shut out the light. The young woman at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. She was able to recommend 3 great area restaraunts plus the Island Queen ferry. For the price and location I would definitely stay again.

Everything was great except door lock (it took 20 min to open the door) and wi-fi ,connection - I spent 2 hours to connect to the Internet but finally succeed.

it was very dirty despite the helpful receptionist. Also if you are hoping to walk to Falmouth there is no path along the main road to the hotel so you have to get a taxi if you want to be safe.

I read some reviews describing this place as a total dump; I think those people are speaking in hyperbole. Sure, there were a few marks on the wall and a couple stains on the carpet, but the stuff that mattered was all fine-- very comfortable bed and sheets, functional Wifi, clean bathroom. The family who manage the motel were really helpful. The first room we were shown had absolutely nowhere to hang any clothes. They gave us another which had a hanging rack on the wall. The room was clean with a new bathroom. There was a fridge and microwave and coffee maker with awful coffee! The laundry came in handy. There was a nice swimming pool. […] Good value for money. All I can say is you get what you pay for. The owners were very nice and pleasant. You can tell they just bought it and are trying to cleanit up. The airconditioner was would go from fan to air every so often. Not good airconditioners. The rooms and the outside needed to be painted. The pool water was clean but the pool was not new.

It's okay as long as you're traveling alone. If you bring your family, go somewhere else, Very nice people run it. The pool was good. It is a little run down though. The rooms need some serious renovations. Wood paneling from the 1960's doesn't cut it. A/C worked, but needs to be updated.

The hotel was easy to find. Not the greatest place in the world. The room was clean, but everything was aged. The mattress was very uncomfortable, my wife and I ended up purchasing pillows at a local store which made the second night better. Didn't use the pool, not many other amenities. Overall a C- rating.

the place needs serious renovations. rooms are bare essentials. bathrooms could use a lot more cleaning. no door in the common area of our units. a trash can full of trash in the common area that stunk to high heaven. pool closes very early (6 pm). i felt dirty just being there.

had to ask for hair dryer. it didn't work well. shower presser was terrible and cold. we didn't have any hot water. what's the deal? hotel staff was never around. we only saw them at check in.

I paid for 2 rooms and when I got there the manager told us that he has no rooms left and he could give us a "cottage" with 2 bedrooms... I contacted Hotels.com in order to find another hotel, but since it was the memorial day weekend there were nothing else available. Reserved this hotel to stay overnight before a fishing trip. They didn't have a room with 2 double beds that I reserved, but gave us 2 rooms with instead at no extra charge. No bugs, no cigarette burns in the bedspread, quite clean, no bad odors, and very, very nice staff. The problem was a general shabbiness: transparent curtains on the windows, both with floodlights right outside; tiny flat pillows; stopped-up bathroom sink; incredibly noisy and rickety room fan, TV with volume control set too low. Hotel was old, not updated. Windows were dirty. Carpeting old, would only wear socks on it, not bare foot. Lots of weeds.

Our room was outdated in terms of bedding and decor, but was extremely clean. We had a small fridge, a microwave, and a coffee machine. The owners were very helpful with local restaurant information. For the price, it was a good room.
