Great location and price but on a business trip with just one shirt I needed to iron, I discovered no irons were provided in the rooms. Instead, guests have to go to a an ironing room which I was not prepared to do shirtless. I really like this hotel and have stayed here before. It is so relaxing and quiet. I can't say much about the facilities outside the room though as I didn't really see them. I find that it's a great place to stay if you want to chill out and not be bothered. But if you want to go out partying all night long, I'd suggest somewhere more central. My only complaint is that the party noise on the Saturday evening of my stay was unacceptable. I was a participant in a conference and needed my sleep. I was on the 6th floor and yet the loud music disturbed my rest until 2:00 AM. This would be a reason for me not to want to return, despite all the positives.

Overall, I was very pleased with the hotel. The room was clean and had all the things you would expect from a modern room. The bathroom was also fantastic, with the shower being roomy and pleasant. I only had two qualms with the hotel. The first being the tax that you get charged as you leave the hotel. We checked out early in the morning and was surprised to be charged over 7 euros for city tax. I felt we were not informed of this before or during the stay and it was an unpleasant surprise. My other issue was the fact that the hotel had a picture of a sauna in their pictures and we did not have access to one when we arrived, even though I was looking forward to it! Exactly what we were looking for......clean hotel with easy access to central Brussels. Hotel on METRO line (about 10mins from city, 2euro for a return ticket) or a 25mins walk to city centre. Rooms were clean, if you skip having your room cleaned each morning by staff then you get a 5euro voucher for the bar. We didn't have breakfast at hotel, but […] it looked to have a very good selection, breakfast at weekends is half the price of weekday (25euro vs 12.50 at weekends). Internet access in reception or you have 1 hour wifi in your room. Located in EU quarter so not many restaurants nearby, best to go into city center. Staff at reception are polite and efficient. Gym in hotel has basic cardio equipment. We were a couple staying there, did not see any families, mainly business travelers as hotel is in the EU quarter. Due to its location it is cheaper at weekends. Overall a really nice clean hotel which is great value for money at weekends. Recently visited Brussels for the Christmas Market but didn't want to pay loads for a weekend stay. The hotel was about a 5 minute taxi journey from Eurostar Midi which cost about 12 euros but you can also catch the metro but this is about a 10 minute walk from the Eurostar station & wasn't well sign posted. When we arrived at the hotel they were able […] to check us in early, the staff were very friendly & helpful, they gave us a map & showed us where all the tourist attraction were & also what restaurants were good & reasonably priced away from the tourist areas. The hotel was basic but very clean & modern, it had everything you needed for a weekend stay. The hotel was only a 20 minute walk to the Grande Place & most tourist attractions, however there is also a metro station right outside, so in the evenings when it was a bit cold, we were able to catch this into the centre of town. The room was a good size & had loads of storage, the bathroom was very modern with a double shower & double sink & very clean. We both agreed that we slept extremely well, the beds were very comfortable. The room also had the usual tea & coffee facilities as well as a chiller for cold drinks. The night I arrived, there happened to be parked tractors right outside the hotel, for a demonstration for the rights of farmers. Being a foreigner, I had no idea what to expect from this, and after coming to my room, they started honking. There was no way I could prepare for my meeting with the noise outside. The Thon-EU hotel is a modern hotel just steps from the Maalbeek station at the edge of the EU district. They have an excellent and very attentive staff and everything is bright and shiny. They have an excellent breakfast (not included in my stay). I got an excellent room-rate on a weekend that the EU was not in session. The hotel is very modern, lots of bright pinks/ green/ orange and is excellently located on Rue de la Loi, a minute from Maelbeek metro stop and a couple of minutes from Schuman (EC Berlaymont building etc.) and Arts-Loi. Used this hotel when visiting parliament. Only 5-10 mins away. Staff at hotel very helpful ,room spacious. Only 1 hour free wifi but we had no problems getting onto a computer in lobby where wifi is fre at anytime. Breakfast is 25 euro and we didn't think this was good value. This hotel was very inconveinent it charged 30 Euro per every 24hrs for parking in thier garage. Parking located near this hotel was impossible to find. They also charged and additional 25 euro security deposit on the room which will be held for up to one week after your stay. and 12 euro city tax was also charged per day. I only stayed at the Thon Hotel EU for a night. The overall experience was very good, the staff were helpful and friendly, the hotel itself is very nice, the colors are vibrant. Location is especially good for those who have to be around the EU quarter which was very convenient for me and probably the reason I chose this particular hotel). Breakfast […] was great, the variety of hot and cold food was abundant and everything was tasty. My room was nice and spacious enough, the bed was very comfortable, TV had very good channels. What could be better in my opinion: there were two very narrow duvets on a double bed, I had to either use both of them horizontally, or if Iused just one then it was difficult to turn in bed without becoming uncovered; the windows were not soundproof, which seems largely to be a norm these days in hotels located near busy roads (which it is), the flooring was uncomfortable, not a carpet nor hardwood, like plastic (I couldn't really understand the material) it somehow made me feel like I had blisters under my feet. These were negative aspects for me. But overall it is a good hotel for a short stay (probably more suited for business travelers). 阅读更多信息
