The Salutation is a wonderful haven for a short or long weekend break. The suite, with bedroom and living room (fully stocked with drinks) and the kitchenette make you feel comfortably at home in beautifully decorated surroundings. The Salutation was a very comfortable residence, with full complimentary drinks, excellent surroundings, splendid breakfast. Our only comment is that the walls to the adjoining bathroom were a little thin, but this was not enough to spoil our three night stay. We'd return.

A wonderful place to stay! Really enjoyed our stay, but unfortunately it was only for one night as a birthday treat. The gardens were gorgeous, and was nice to be able to walk round them at any time. The only slight disappointment was the length of time it took to cook breakfast, but we enjoyed talking to the other 2couples staying at the hotel, and […] we weren't in any hurry!
