We were greeted at the door when we arrived with a lovely smile from Angie. Very friendly service.Three of us stayed in the triple room which was spacious,very clean and had everything you needed.Bathroom was large with a lovely bath and hand held shower perfect!We didn't eat an evening meal as we were at an event but breakfast was really lovely and […] when we return we will probably have an evening meal if we don't get fed at my sons homecoming parade in Northallerton! "Peaceful Retreat"
Despite being a wee bit remote, the hotel (part of a pub) was a reasonable venue for my overnight stay. The service and quality of food was good with comfortable room and bed. Unfortunately there was a horrible pong in the entrance (smelt suspiciously like a full waste tank), really awful. However, I am sure it's better now!Hotels.com 真实住客点评

"Day at thirsk Races"
Myself and my wife stayed here after a day at Thirsk races. The owners and staff were really nice, booked us a taxis to races for when we arrived etc. We had a meal in the evening and the food was lovely and reasonable value. "Lovely village pub"

"Quiet pub, great food, great staff"
Roof very very comfortable. Staff excellent friendly and made my overnight stay a pleasure. Food I ate in the restaurant for dinner on arrival and breakfast the next day and both were very good. Staying away from work is not always a pleasure but this stay was.Hotels.com 真实住客点评

I thoroughly enjoyed my overnight stay here. Ample car parking, very warm and friendly greeting. Large and comfortable room with pleasant views. "Cute, quaint & lovely"
Everything was wonderful. The owner and staff members couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was made to order. The bar stayed open as long as we were sitting there. Dinners were exceptional. Our room was well equipped and the bed was big enough for two long people.
